We were able to decline it when my son was born. They asked 10 or more times but we held strong and they left us alone after a while. Only thing they stuck him with after birth was a Vitamin K shot, which I wasn't terribly happy with but allowed to happen due to some other factors. |

I knew one day I would have something of interest to someone :) The bit I don't get is the article says that Britain has a low percentage of Hep B so why are they pushing the vax on newborns. You usually have a build up of stories in the media of how such a vax or medication or whatever is vital for whichever disease but I've heard nothing. Before the release of the shingles vax it was never out of the MSM beforehand for months. |

I've done a search and it even confirms this. So far as i know there is no cure - i was very upset at the time but your immune system can fight it and you can get immunity - which is what I now have - i remember getting the result and being amazed - i thought i had like 10 years to live or something - many go on to be carriers though. I do have auto-immune probs though like rheumatoid arthritis etc - not sure if related to fighting past infections or not. xx HairyBarbarian |

That's a frightening thought of many more millions of Africans on there way, The NHS has plenty money to fund the new in comers but no funds to treat the poorly people already here.
