(The following is just my personal opinion)

Think about how many times God got pissed off at humanity in the Bible. One time he was so angry he sent a flood that nearly wiped out the entire human race. Why would He be so livid about things He KNEW were going to happen? Because He didn’t.

You see, the greatest gift God gave to mankind was free will. We have the ability to choose our own destiny. That, IMO, is what God meant when he said “let us create man in our own image”. God may be able to ascertain every possible outcome to an event, or every possible choice to be made – but he DOESN’T know which one you’re going to pick, because we’re just like Him in that aspect. You cannot predict God, and God cannot predict you.

Somehow this fits into his divine plan. We have a purpose here. I won’t claim to know what it is, but one thing that I’m absolutely certain of is that it makes zero sense for an omniscient being to set in motion events that He would already know the outcome of.

Food for thought.
