He mentioned sparrows and how the Father takes care of them. You are much more valuable than a sparrow aren't you? My favorite Bible passage. I let go of all worries in my life after reading that. Yes...I would agree. Perfecting the Trust with the Lord will do that. I need to go back to practicing this myself. |

God alone can produce it, we can only bear it. Just ask Him for it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6692000 I can't imagine people playing 24D chess being able to do it. But it is wise to lead a simple life. I suppose my life isnt so simple still. No offense, but your translation is inaccurate. According to the ancient gospel codex in the original language spoken by the Israelites, in Matthew 6:34 the word spoken by the Messiah Yahshua is ThaTspun (“be anxious” (plural)). The same word conjunction is found in Matthew 10:19 and Mark 13:11. And the root word is yTsp (“anxious” (singular)), which can be found in passages like Matthew 6:28. When you examine all occurrences of this word (and root word) in the gospel, you begin to see it is used to admonish lack of faith. In other words, one of the prominent opponents of faith is anxiety. By contrast, the words for “careful” are different and many and highly desirable (e.g., btyluTha, KhpytuTha, rnya) – it is indeed wise to be careful. So Yahshua is saying do not be faithless/anxious today, because it is more desirable to strengthen and focus on your faith today. The disciples were growing daily through daily exercises of faith as they built their lives around Yahshua and prepared themselves to go forth in the world to perform miracles – perhaps the best example is when Simon Kapa walked on water toward Yahshua, but when his eyes looked elsewhere he sank like a kapa. Keep your focus on Yahshua, and keep future anxieties (if any) away from your focus, because those anxieties do not strengthen your faith today or tomorrow. Take care :) |
