Anyone want to help me generate some traffic against an anti-drug poll?

I've got to be honest Scout, you're a fucking awesome contribution to this forum and I appreciate your honesty and humility in bringing REAL discussion about REAL topics to this forum.

Ireland is considering the decriminalization of all drugs in favor of a more common sense method. A friend asked for help with a poll created as an "anti drug" propaganda effort. How does GLP feel about helping change messed up drug laws??

Wait...you want people who don't live there, to be part of a "voting process" that affects people that live in THAT country???

Wouldn't it be 'better' to let it play out because THEY are going to be affected by this decision and ramping up phony votes is not going to bring anything except a corrupt process that may not help unveil how those people living in that area feel about "legalizing illegal drugs"...

Or is everyone not care about that???

Carfentanil is an answer to a market problem. Think about it. If suppliers need to smuggle their products into a market due to criminality, they will attempt to 'concentrate' their product as much as possible. If you can carry, for example, a limit of 10 kilos of product and you have a choice between something that is zero times concentrated, or 1000 times concentrated, which would you prefer?

If the fucking stupid laws were to get out of the way and the free market could address addiction, pharmaceutical companies could provide users with safe access to clean products that have guaranteed potency. Those users, in a free and legal market, could ingest their products in clinics where medical care is provided. Since the drugs would now be legitimate, the prices would plummet and demand for things like theft and violent crime would go down. The black market, unable to compete with big pharma, would disappear because users would prefer purchasing their product from a place like CVS than the ghetto any day.

Our CIA who facilitates trans-national narcotics trafficking in order to finance really nasty "black budget" projects would lose a lot of money, which is a good thing if you ask me.

Latin American and other impoverished countries could engage in new, legitimate markets, free from fear of the American war on drugs.

Legalize all drugs but force hospitals to turn away drug users that overdose. Problem solved.

All you are doing is making their lives worse so really the punishment is not supposed to be worse than the crime. After all, they didnt create the drug.

I honestly doubt that there'd be more overdoses. Maybe for a few months then everything would equalize and hard drug use and OD's would drop substantially.

The poll either has lag or they are playing games with it. I posted 1000 votes through an ipswitching recaptcha bot that also changes the environment. The votes were not tallying. I just pulled 4 different mobile devices on tmobile and manually voted and the results did not reflect any votes. With one device, the vote tally actually reversed reduced one yes vote.

This isn't bot protection, a good bot can behave exactly like a person. They may be removing votes from ip addresses outside of the local area, but I don't have time to go look for a bunch of local ips. If you have some then post the link and I will set it to run through those.

Yes, if GPs can prescribe drugs and alcohol is legal, then so should be all drugs.
