Friends who stop replying

Bow down to the one you serve... But seriously, do you permanently stop responding to people you've up until recently gotten along very well with?

I once said that if people are going to betray someone, they'll do so pretty fast. No one acts like a friend for years and then sudden "betrayal". Now I'm less certain though...

Just like with liars. If someone reveals something slowly over time, it's most probably true. Liars tell things quickly...

It can often be complex. Don't take it personal, unless you did something that could have led to it. Could be many reasons why and perhaps nothing directly to do with you, at all. Just try again later, maybe even weeks later.

Why not if you aren't? Doesn't cost anything. Also, how can you have many friends if you are unpleasant?

Herein lies the problem with present day communication.

I'm going to assume, since you used the word "replied" that you're talking about a text message or electronic communication of some sort.

If the person is that important to you, go see them in person or at least arrange to talk to them on the phone.

This present day text culture is fucking annoying as hell. People expect you to reply to every damn one , and instantly.

I can also feel like that. But I usually reply somehow. Stonewalling is douchebaggy. Even worse... If you wanna know what's happened to a person. Then no reply? WTF?
