Is it possible to see orbs with the naked eye?

I'm sure everyone here is familiar with the phenomena of orbs and whatnot. Spirits captured on camera as fast moving flashes of light. Every now and again I'll see something like that go buzzing through my field of vision. Don't know if it's orbs, tricks of the light, or (god forbid) a tumor. Anyone more spiritually attuned got an answer?
