They were fucking Romans. Romans had sex with little boys. Thats right, Romans had sex with children but didnt marry them. Most pagan cultures are based on a sex as power and dominance theme. Marriage was for legitimizing transfer of wealth by declaring legitimacy and worthiness to determine inheritance and transfer or property. Love had nothing to do with it. |
