The links I've provided are of Realtime seismic recordings for all the stations in and around the park, including Maple Creek.

Maybe I'm missing something, but after years of doing this, I'm not certain what I'd be missing.

The seismograms are not showing are not showing their sensitivity settings...so, there remains the possibility that it's tuned to look less menacing than it is.

In which case, I'll apologize now for thinking nothing's going on, just in case.

Grant it, you can see activity on the University of Utah links I posted.

I suggest everyone following keep them handy, just in case.

Years ago we had access to some amazing sites. Even the University of Utah had three Realtime seismic 'area' pages: one for the Park, one for lower Wyoming down to Utah, and another for Utah into Nevada. The ones in Montana were great. I assume they still exist.

Every seismogram showed you the sensitivity settings it was set at, so small tremors might look larger than they were, while large ones could look small.

Okay. Hopefully things die down.

While interesting, I just can't go from magma moving to "it's gonna blow". Granted, based on previous eruption patterns, we are in the range for another eruption. However, that could be now until another 10,000 years or more.

I think the most likely scenario is a smaller eruption like 70,000 years ago. JMO

This is BS. A 4.5 would show up on ALL the seismograms in Yellowstone, not just a couple (regardless of the sensitivity settings).

Clown must be confusing the magnitude 4-5 quakes we had about a week ago in Montana (not related). These seismograms look fine to me.

The real story is the tiltmeters in Long Valley Caldera in California have gone off the charts. Search GLP: Supervolcano deformation. most recent post and pin plz.

The crustal displacement created secondary quake up north & tsunami at same time . the earth kept moving non stop for over 30 days of aftershocks , people were not able to cooks in stoves as aftershocks kept spilling the food all over the place and knocking the Fogones ( primitive coal fueled stoves )down from their pedestals ... they feared using latrines for fear of being swallowed by them under the constant aftershock shaking ...
