I have a little Bitcoin and i guess I'll hold as long as it goes up, but on July 31 Coinbase is stopping all transactions. that can't be good.

Many started buying it because they thought it couldn't split and there would only ever be a set limit.

You fell into the hardfork meme. It has already been decided that it will not have hardfork and in addition bitcoin will have an upgrade that will allow a volume of transactions bigger and with more speed. From now on the value of bitcoin will only rise.

Miners have signaled acceptance of segwit. This means a split is not likely to occur, or to have little significance if it does occur. So you have money coming back in, as when segwit hits and shows no issues within a week or two we will see 3500 BTC

The bitcoin foundation/core team has been infiltrated by the banking cartel. They have artificially limited bitcoin's transaction capacity for a very long time now.

The miners signaling for segwit2x using the btc1 client which was not developed by said foundation/core team basically fires the core team. which means that in the future if bitcoin needs transactional upgrades, the consensus and wherewithal is there to do it.

The bitcoin foundation/core team/blockstream have been highly censoring and manipulating the narrative.

If core got their way, they would have kept the blocksize small and implemented their poison pill segwit so that they can do the lightning network with blockstream.

The lightning network will cause bitcoin to be a settlement layer not unlick the current banking system with centralized hubs with the banking cartel in control of said nodes.

AML/KYC policies would have been in full effect and bitcoin as a decentralized and peer to peer solution would be dead.

But, since the miners have shown their support, pretty much unanimously, for segwit2x showing that the core team isn't the only "kid" on the block that can change/upgrade bitcoin.

Faith is slowly being restored in bitcoin.

I find it amazing that bitcoin, being as crippled as it was did as well as it did.

Once the actual transactional volume upgrades are in place and working, we can expect to see some real fireworks to happen.

Right now the price is increasing by posturing to take advantage of that.

Furthermore, many nations have "legalized" bitcoin recently.

What a joke that word is: "legalize".

Just know that things are legal until made illegal.

What they mean by "legalize" is to give governments "authority" to regulate.

There is going to be a hard fork by some very faithful and fanatical people come August 1st that does not include segwit.

Bitcoin will split, but not in the way that people feared would happen through BIP148/UASF (what a crock of monkey snot horse shit stew).

Bitcoin Cash will be the hard forked coin. Currently bitcoinABC client will work on that chain. Bitcoin Unlimited and Bitcoin Classic are working on clients that will be compatible with that chain.

Just think of it 3 independent teams developing clients for a single chain! that's decentralization!

Core trying to manipulate the narritive through lies/confusion and censorship to maintain the perception that they alone are qualified to develop the "main" bitcoin client has done bitcoin unmeasurable harm.

If it can get a majority of miners get behind bitcoin cash it in the future, it will be bitcoin once again.

ViaBTC is already trading bitcoin cash tokens and has promised to set up a mining pool.

Most miners like the idea of having a pure implementation of bitcoin as satoshi envisioned it.

Accept no less. Bitcoin Cash is the original bitcoin.

I'm mining monero. Building rigs; but what's more important to me is blockchain, a better understanding of it, and all of the signs pointing to it. I think litecoin is good, but monero excellent. True values will balance when realized, this is fresh data for folks. If you're not in this to short right now, and I stress right now, then I'd get monero. There's just no easy way to dump it yet, work in progress.. We believe though that it is the most sophisticated 'coin'.... Look into gambling coins too, but be careful!! Can always count on idiots :)

The system itself generate new coins.. Is a complex technology to understand at the beginning but after you get it you see how amazing it is.. There is no owner of system.. I recommend reading about it..

But speed will still be very low for BTC... today is around 7 transactions per second and if im not wrong it will go to less than 20 tps.. ETH can handle approx 26-27 tps..

Bitshares can handle 100,000 transactions per second.. I really recommend you guys to read the below article about Bitshares..

Is important to remember that crypto's is still something very new.. Only few people know about it.. people are starting to hear about bitcoin now.. So when masses get more familiar with the concept, some coins will explode 100x, 1000x... I'm sure BTS will be one of those..
