What, you think the dems are just gonna sit on their hands and do nothing? Are you freakin' nuts? Trump has to be careful with moving too quickly or else he risks undoing his entire agenda. If he starts arresting everyone wantonly like some dictator, Congress can make a case to impeach him. It would backfire massively. It sounds good, but realistically it wouldn't work with the kind of world we live in.

When you're trying to imprison people with the political backing these people have you don't move on them until you have air tight cases, if you do they will get out on a technicality. These are powerful people and they have numerous ways to escape justice, you have to have so much to charge them with that it floods their legal teams to the point they don't even know where it start a defense.

2016 - The reaction of the Swamp to Trump's election starts waking people up who didn't believe the corruption and conspiracies were real. Now, they are starting to realize that they might not really know the truth of the US government.
2018 - Enough RINO's get booted out that positive change starts happening.
2020 - Trump's re-election (and his speeches about the truth of the situation) causes the revolution to have teeth.
