My mom put her house on the market and sold it the first day over full price. she was pissed Quoting: jake We had a bidding war on our house in Peachtree City prior to our move to KS. Houses in Metro Atlanta are doing well. But, I am just relocating to the Georgia Mountains and it is still very depressed. Houses that were built for ten years ago for $400-$500k are selling for under $300k.
