This is a BEAUTIFUL life and such a rewarding path, at least I think so! Do you get paid for the work? Minimum wage, room and board, or do you pay your hosts for the privilege of learning? I'm happy you're happy, but I hope you're not just doing this out of the goodness of your hesrt. |

I'm happy you're happy, but I hope you're not just doing this out of the goodness of your hesrt. I don't get paid for my work but my lodging and meals are provided for as well as a whole ton of experience that I'm gaining and skills I get to learn first hand. I don't want for anything. After I have enough experience under my belt I will likely move on to another farm where there is paid employment. I'm a full fledged city boy though so I wanted the opportunity to get some notches in my belt first before I tried to get hired on somewhere and wind up looking like an idiot because I can't do the tasks that are expected of me. |

This is a BEAUTIFUL life and such a rewarding path, at least I think so! I can only imagine... the pull of the city is strong, but I spent my first childhood in a semi-rural environment at the border of a forest, a few miles from a city. Thanks to this I have some nice memories. |
