Even ducks and geese have enough sense to pull up their landing gear right after takeoff.

Airbus didn't incorporate a error message that they might notice?

Over-dependancy on computers is one of the newer forms of "benign things that may render you lifeless".

Airbus 319 and 320 are so heavily microprocessor dependent that I was never comfortable in them.
My friend who is half time pilot, half time Flight Director for "______" Airlines never had a good thing to say about Airbus.

In fact, years ago he used to have a bumper sticker that read " If it's not Boeing, I'm not going."

They left the landing gear DOWN, moron.

You would think in this day and age that there would be a light or warning that the landing gear is down. Wierd. My opinion doesn't matter or give a shit.

Yeah well, the blue Angels we're flying 100 feet over our town with their landing gear still down.

These are professional stunt pilots who forgot their landing gear!

It is a brand new A320.

They probably redesigned indicators and alarms. "Less is more".

not just women, was on a flight to Mexico City, trying to take off, we're jerking along the runway. the guy next to me says, I'm a pilot, he still has the brakes on, lol

Oh hell is that what I smelled.

The blue angels fly with their landing gear because its apart of their show. They were probably going over maneuvers and that's what you saw, especially so low, to show off the f18s slow flying capabilities. You're comparing 2 completely different types of pilots.
