A Brief Synopsis of The Great American Eclipse, Astrologically Speaking

On August 21st this spectacular event will sweep across the North American continent at over 3,000 miles an hour, starting at about 10:15am. From Oregon to South Carolina and some fringe dwelling states in between, the light of day will be markedly dimmed and in some places other planets or stars may be briefly visible.

Astrologically speaking, this eclipse occurs at about 28Leo50. It has a strong trine to Uranus , in Aries, is loosely conjunct Mars at 20Leo41, which has a lovely sextile to Jupiter in Libra. Generally speaking these transiting planets reflect this as a good time to be bold, act on the courage of your convictions, initiate new and innovative projects, especially those involving youth. Eclipses are also associated with bringing things out into open and shedding new light on old notions.

In relation to the natal chart for your current POTUS, this eclipse is conjunct his Mars @ 26Leo46 and his Ascendant @ 29Leo57. Transit Mars has a waxing conjunction with Trumps natal Mars that culminates at the end of August ~ much energy available. Added to this is Trumps Progressed Sun @ 01Vir01 and the Regal star, Regulus, at 00Vir46. If anyone should have the courage of his convictions at this time, Trump should have balls in abundance.

Combined with all the Leonine energy going on in Trumps progressed chart (Saturn 02Leo46, Moon 04Leo12, Pluto 12Leo00 and Mercury 13Leo19) transit Venus visits Leo on August 26th, adding a softer energy to the star soup and working in nicely with the Virgonian discernment of the Sun/Mercury conjunction at 03Vir47.

On September the 3rd, both retrograde Mercury and direct Mars hook up on the site of The Great American Eclipse. Mercury then turns direct and by the 10th September, both Mars and Mercury have entered Virgo. As these planets of energy and communication pass across the point of the recent eclipse, they may trigger actions/plans that were envisaged around the time of the eclipse.

Watch what comes out of the White House/Trumps twitter account in the week from the 3rd - 10th of September, the stars are hinting at some sort of profound communication/action, after some serious deliberation and requiring much courage to follow through on.
