You know,...what I find interesting is the McNaught deal.

I mean it was visible all over the world but yet know one I spoke to locally knew about it. I went to a local observatory and was told by one of the regulars he did not believe me that it was visible in the northern hemisphere.

And yet,...

All of the Astronomey magazines for May state that it may have been the greatest coment in earths history.

Months after the fact.

Interesting to say the least.

Now this,...hm,..

Do you even remember the name of the last comet to stir up a big scare here?

Probably naught.

At least you could see that one.

You can still see it. It stirred things up because it was a spectical.

Hey,...check out all major Astronomy mags this month and see what was under reported.

Ninny.

Re: New Comet LoveJoy Discovered: Destination Unknown
Life line, I believe this is a message for us - at least my family. My sister Lovette Joy passed on last Sept. We knew we gave her to the heavens but who would have expected this?!?!

What if it was not a coincidence that this comet is named Lovejoy. I know about the astronomer that discovered it (that it was his name) But still. Coincidence ? What if the way the universe works is trying to tell us something ?

25 April 2007 01:45 UT.
66148133 km.

... And *no*, it never crossed Earth's orbit:
Perihelion: 27 March 2007 12:21 UT @ 1.0929863 AU

Another doom-by-comet bites the dust.
