Almost a religious expierience ...they don't make movies like that anymore ...stands out best of film of past 23 years

In the past two decades... Few or any movies make lasting impacts.This film stands alone.

A long lasting, often thought of,...work of true art IMO.

This movie is an important "heads-up" for anyone dealing
with NEW EARTH-DISASTER INFORMATION (as they may become
very depressed knowing the threat "is out there.")
Melanchoia is a classic...and very well presented with real-to-life
emotional portrayals of several people dealing with what
they assume MAY BE "THE END."

Our GLP member "Adragon" "Storm2Come" and myself among
other thread authors have covered the SOLAR-VERSION of
"Melancholia" making sure to always sprinkle-in DISCLAIMERS
warning that the information on this coming solar event
(much like a Carrington Event ON STEROIDS) can make some

tragic comedy it was not.

Spoiler Alert:

Once Justine learns that the world is coming to an end, her melancholia vanishes. She is healed. We see her voracious at the dinner table, her fingers in a glass jar of marmalade, licking the sticky sweetness from her fingertips and later eating chocolates, one after the other. It is the end of the world and a relief for Justine.

Justine was depressed from living in this pretentious, fake ass, corrupt world, and evil possessed people pretending to be so good Christians, living the life! Once she saw Melancholia coming, she was freaking relieved that now this bullshit can come to an end finally and Clare her sister begin to lose her mind to the very end because her fake reality was falling apart. Justine never fit into this world because she knew it was all fake; she tried but it didn't work and shouldn't have worked! Being fake takes a lot of energy albeit wasted.

Justine was the sane one, not Clare. It's always the people who see the world as it really is who gets labeled as crazy when in actually 99% of the populace are straight up Lunatics.

How do I know this? I'm relieved Melancholia is coming too.
