Hey OP, are you in Minnesota? That's where I'm from. Here's the Paul Douglas weather commentary from today's StarTribune:

The Paul Page
Today's NowCast

All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism. What a week to be a meteorologist. No, make that a beleaguered, drafted weather therapist. Minnesotans are unhappy about the current state of affairs, and coming at tax-time no less! Jet stream winds are temporarily locked, howling consistently from the north and northwest in a pattern that looks more like Thanksgiving than Easter. People feel a bit cheated; Old Man Winter has become the grumpy old uncle that just won’t leave. At least the sun is out and winds will ease a bit on Easter Sunday – the kids may need an extra layer or two this morning, but by afternoon it will feel better. I’m gripping the Doppler radar with two hands and trying not to whimper. Yet another storm is brewing for Tuesday, with enough lift and moisture for a quick couple inches of slush on lawns and fields by nightfall. By the end of next week another chance for rain and wet snow. Variability is healthy, right? I’m reminded of the words of George Santayana. “To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring.” Keep the faith.
