Someone posted that link to show everything was normal, this twat says "it's dated the 5th! old data! no good!"
Now he's trying to say it shows an anomaly.

It looks as though that graph is based on predictions made from on data collected before last thursday. I doesn't include the shift the appeared on the IERS graph from the 7th until today.

It will be interesting to see if the next USNO bulletin released next Thursday and corresponding prediction graph as if the shifts that occurred since last Thursday are not merely due to error, then the prediction line in the previous poster's graph should begin to head NW instead of SE.

Its quite simple the spinning top called planet earth is becoming unbalanced. When you melt off the poles you no longer have nice heavy weight at both ends of the axis and the wobble increases. Weebels wobble but they don't fall down, but earth does.

To cause such a dramatic shift of the northern axis?

I find that difficult to believe.

If you look closely at the data in the links you have provided, you can see clearly that there are huge errors in the most recent x and y readings.

They will fix it when easter holidays are over.

-25 Mili Seconds of day in the space of a few hours seems a bit extreme.

I would have to assume its a glitch in the data.

As you can see, on average there is a shift of +/- a few mili seconds each day which balances things out but this!

I don't know what to make of it, more data is needed from other sources to verify the validity of this reading.
