When people win this $, its like they feel obligated that they need to somehow spend it all in this lifetime. 315 million its enough cash for your family and many lines of descendants! I think I'd start some type of company that goes around to disaster areas to help rebuild the homes of families that just lost everything. Then, anyone in my family who wants a piece of the winnings would be REQUIRED to work down in the trenches helping those families so they could have a constant reminder of just how good we have it. Oh... and we'd have required drug tests in the company too. After all, as $315 million winners, we need to set the example... I would think with $315 million, you could afford living in a community that wouldn't be so tolerant of thuggish drug dealers. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 7570540 United States 11/25/2012 08:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It would be difficult - everyone would want a piece of you, either by suggesting you gift it to them or by trying to take it by force (theft or trumped up law suit). You would have to move since your home would be swarmed with people trying to get what they consider their share. It would be best to live in a state which allows for anonymity but even that would be hard to keep. Just one person - one of your kids or something - lets it slip and everyone knows. |

He used the money like an idiot, in the process drawing attention from Obama supporters (that's what these people would be known as in a few years). He had no wisdom which is surprising in someone who was a successful businessman before he won the lottery. Someone like him should have known to set up a charitable trust and use the money to do some lasting good, not build churches or give his daughter 4 cars or carry money in a briefcase and hand it out in cash. |
