When I was about 14, I hitch hiked to So Cal.Not knowing my way around, I ended up in the barrio.East LA is not a good place for a young white boy after dark.So, when a local offered me a place to stay, I accepted.
My host was an employee of RCA, and had his own copy of the Mick Jagger film "Performance".He also had lots of other "loot", hand signed nude shots of Janis Joplin, etc, etc, but his prize possession was the Jagger film.
He said he prized it so highly because he enjoyed the dichotomy of good/evil white/black light/dark...
But the most interesting part of the evening was when he was describing the research group he was involved in, whose motto was "If one note makes you tap your feet, what note makes you raise your fist and strike?"
Don't even bother trying to convince me that music doesn't influence people.It does influence people, and despite your protests, you KNOW it does, and did know that before you ever saw this thread.
