We can feel what God wants us to feel. In Exodus there was a darkness that could be felt. This morning while the sound and feeling was uncomfortable , I knew why.
1 Samuel 15 is hard chapter for me to read , Samuel comes and tells Saul what the Lord has commanded , 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

I am a person that felt pity for some bugs that I had found shelter in my plants , as brought them in from the cold , so this chapter is tough.
Verse 9 But Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, the oxen, the fatlings, the lambs, and all that was good, and were unwilling to utterly destroy them. But everything despised and worthless, that they utterly destroyed.

Two days in a row God allowed me to see something in a strange place that said , Black and White.

Since I was young I have been told you are to black and white on things, they would say most things are in the gray area .
Sunday and Monday when black and white was in my face , I ask God why, then today this was my chapter.

Saul is a mess as we know and he listened to what Samuel told him all that the Lord told him to do, but then Saul decides what parts to ignore and added his own commands . Notice in verse 9 Saul and the people spared. Verse 11 “I greatly regret that I have set up Saul as king, for he has turned back from following Me, and has not performed My commandments.” And it grieved Samuel, and he cried out to the Lord all night.
Have you ever cried all night to the Lord, we can see why God used Samuel .

Verse 20 And Saul said to Samuel, “But I have obeyed the voice of the Lord , and gone on the mission on which the Lord sent me, and brought back Agag king of Amalek; I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
Saul like most of us in our minds , think we know better and what would please the Lord. Saul when he continues to get in trouble , repeats the Garden incident with Adam , Eve and the Serpent and blames the people.

Verse 22 and 23 are very powerful , 22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,
And to heed than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord , He also has rejected you from being king.”

Verse 27 And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.

Saul begs, even though Samuel said no and we see the The Coming of the Cross... God has no gray area , when I finished this chapter , the black and white was very clear. God gives us many stories including this one to shows us why the Cross. We are in a sea of the Church of Saul. We have taken what we want , left some things out and created a gray God.
For me to not embrace what God commanded in the orders given in verse 3 , that was hard to read , is to not embrace The Cross.

God has no gray area , we created that. I cried yesterday when I heard these words in Mark 34 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
35 He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. 36 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”
I took the time to think about Jesus the Son of God , asking for what He wanted but did what God wanted .
Samuel tells us that not to obey God , is as evil as the sin of witchcraft, wow...Jesus tells us many times about fearing God, there is a reason for that.
There where even times the Apostles fell and feared Who Jesus was. Fear of God is not a bad thing , fear of anything makes us stir clear of that fear. We should always fear not obeying God...Luke 12:5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

God hates gray, and luke warm, know Who God really is in Scriptures , He is a God that can command verse 3, He is a God that sent His Son to the Cross even though Jesus ask , let this pass from me … Do not be Saul...Powerful message today when the winds seem angry...I will write about that later.

God is clear , He is Black and White , NO gray areas and hates lukewarm...Revelation 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
He is a God not to mess around with and make Him what we want , Samuel cried all night for this silly Saul , because Samuel knew God in verse 3 of this chapter.

As far a winds being angry, they can not be that way, they are not living beings. So they can not have emotions. You are bordering on promoting Spiritualism, which falls under Divination and is Forbidden by God and the Torah.

We went through this a week ago. We are supposed to get blasted with Lake Effect snow this afternoon.

I hope you have your preps in order. For Christmas, I bought practical things like a crank lantern, crank flashlight, and several battery operated lanterns just in case we lose power, instead of traditional Christmas gifts.
I also picked up a special light like the firemen use that enables them to see through smoke when they do a house search. It can be wall mounted or handheld.

Ezekiel 13:10-13 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter: 11 Say unto them which daub it with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. 12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it? 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

Isaiah 30:13 Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

Iniquity is as a breach swelling out in a high wall. That high wall is God's Law. The wall needs to be repaired, and built up, even the breach of iniquity of God's law needs to be built up, to lead souls to repentance, that they might escape impending doom.

Isaiah 58:12  And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

The Gospel of Christ needs to be preached, and obedience to God's law needs to be taught as a necessity. If we, or anyone else wants to espace from the evil that is coming on this earth, we need to have faith in Christ, and obey God's holy law. We need to repair the breach in God's law, as shown in Isaiah 58. However, the work foretold in Ezekiel 13 is the work of an apostate wall being built up, unlike the work being done in Isaiah 58. The counterfeit wall is built up with "untempered morter", and that counterfeit wall, or as understood, counterfeit law of God, shall fall. A counterfeit Law of God will be exalted and upheld among the people, and when this is done, God will allow His wrath and fury to fall upon those who built up that wall, and those who daubed it with untempered morter.

Ezekiel 13:14  So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

What is that breach which is repaired by those who are obedient to God, in Isaiah 58? The answer comes after God describes the repairers of the breach:

Isaiah 58:12-14  And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.  13  If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:  14  Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

In order for there to be a saving of this generation, there needs to be an acceptance of Christ, and a complete and perfect obedience to God's Holy Law, as it is written. No half-way work can be done. No counterfeit work can be done. Only in accepting Christ Jesus as Saviour from sin in totality (not only in dying for our sins, but giving us strength not to sin), and keeping that Law that Christ gives us the power to keep, all 10 Commandments, as they are written. There is no other way. Make haste.

If your son disobeyed your every command, and eventually became a murderer of many souls, even killing souls in prison, what would you suggest should be done? Would you, out of your love for him, bring him back home, and see that he suffers no punishment "because you love him"?
