Don't understand why you are required to pay alimony. Even husbands aren't required to pay alimony anymore these days. And if you are legally separated, isn't he allowed to fool around? And if you are still living together, I just have to ask, WHY? Does he really think a court is going to award him alimony? Do you really think a court is going to award him alimony? Your lawyer must be clueless.

You could try posting him up on womansavers.com or playersandpsychos.com. See if any other women have reported him...that maybe one way to find proof.

Call the INS and have his sorry ass deported.

Just a thought...you say he is middle eastern, many of them believe that the man 'owns' the kids, and will just up and leave taking the kids, and go back to their country, and you may never see them again. The US State Department warns people of this--I'm not making it up.

SO--if you think that might happen, you need a bodyguard for your child as soon as you announce the divorce. Then, after the divorce has been finalized, you need to either get him deported or if that's not possible, you need to move with no forwarding address, assume a new identity or something depending on how crazy you think he could get over his kid.

Lady, your bigger problem is going to be the child custody battle. If your husband has held a job during the course of your marriage, it is unlikely you will be ordered to pay him alimony. Right now you need to focus on keeping this guy from running off with your kid.

obviously he's found somone else....it happens people fall out of love and for various reasons...i've been married for 20 yrs i'm okay still...evrybody's situation is different i wont deny that he's an ass in the sense that he just didnt come out and tell you he wants out BUT ONE MUST think back and look into one's self to see what one might have done to avoid this....yes men are pigs but it's in our DNA....thats no excuse but it's a two way street look into it maybe its not all him....nonetheless......you can either try to work it out or just get out....you're going to drive yourself crazy with all this investgative stuff.

While I feel for your situation, it is my pleasure to tell a woman that cheaters still get plenty of money, they just call it spousal support instead of alimony.
Lazy loafing spouses are always rewarded for their conduct.
I personally know of several women who quit big jobs for several years in order to get more money from the Courts.
Something should be done about it, but it almost always profits the woman in the relationship.
You are wasting money on the Private Investigator. You are much better trying to trick him into moving out, otherwise the Court will make you move out since the poor baby doesn't have a nice warm house or a job.
Now I look back at the disaster and laugh because life is so much better.
