Am I missing something? If this league excludes Russia and China (which is like, what, 1/3 of the world's population?) then it is not quite a world government. The UN is closer to a world government than this proposed institution would be. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 365792

Why are we surprised? McCain is a NWO Globalist and a far leftist. God help us if he wins the nomination, leaving us with the choice between two candidates who both espouse a communist-style world government in which the people have no vote. Both Hillary and Obama are actually even farther to the left than McCain. |

But that would fracture the current world government (the UN) ... I guess from the title of the OP and the various responses tagging McCain as globalist it seemed as though his proposal was for a one-world government. His proposal sounds more likely to result in multiple governing alliances, more akin to the geopolitical climate of the cold war. |

Sounds like Russia and China might not be invited to join. Asked about that, McCain spokesman Danny Diaz declined to elaborate.
McCain says he would call a summit of world democracies in his first year to explore the practical steps needed to realize his vision.

I see where you are coming from on this. Interesting take. I still think Russia and China are forces to be contended with, and thus difficult to sideline, but I understand your position more clearly now.

Where are we going to get money from to drive around the Earth picking "pork barrel projects" to devote our resources to?
I am 100% sad about people dying and whatnot, but we cannot afford to do this? Unless he taxes the people or invents the imaginary currency (oh wait, we already have that), he can't do these things?
