I Just Called Deer Park About Flouride in Their Water
I called the 800 # on the botlle (natural spring water) and they said that their spring water contains, "a level of flouride that is not dectectable. An analysis shows between 0 and .17 ppm (or mg/liter)." They also said they add NO flouride to their spring water.

I just switched to Tom's of Maine Natural (no flouride) Toothpast and I love it. My teeth actually feel smoother after brushing than they did when I brushed with Colgate Total plus Whitening.

Anyway, just thought I would pass it on.

i use baking soda to avoid fluoride in toothpaste, but until i get a reverse osmosis water purifier for the home, its just unavoidable.

even then i can cut soda and drink only the purified water, but what about juices.

Buy the frozen concentrate and add your own distilled water.

That is what I do.

The label on the frozen juice for instance says grape juice from concentrate so to me that means they add no water.

Baking Soda...oh yeah, maybe I will use that too.

I have been rinsing with Hydrogen Peroxide. I just take a moderate swig from the bottle and swish for a minute or so. I think it only helps with whitening the teeth, but I am sure it kills some bacteria too (could be wrong.. my knowledge of stuff like this is limited). Anyway, HP works great for removing surface stains.

Unless the grapes are grown organically, they contain pesticide residue... which often is composed usually of a compound that contains fluoride.

Try Jason's toothpaste. IMO, it's better than Tom's. Whole Foods carries it, as does www.drugstore.com.

I also just called DeerPark and their content of fluoride is now up to .19 ppm they also have specific type they add fluoride to. Something i did not know, they are owned by Nestle. If anyone is curious here is a list of water brands wonder by Nestle.
