Quoting: Jesus Christ Is God Almighty! You really want to do this again? First of all, I didn't give you three abusive posts, you aren't privy to what mod made what decision. Don't call me out again and don't complain about mod decisions or you'll have more abusive post infractions. |

A matter of integrity in religious discourse. For some people, the light bulb above their head is painted black. What else can I say.... I am conservative. I sat down with a polar opposite liberal and discussed matters of religion intertwined with politics today, face to face. We agreed to disagree, but respectfully listened to one another's opinion each of us asking and answering question of the other In the end, we shook hands and went the other way. I ask no less from others. It raised a major red flag with me however. If two people claiming to share the same or similar faith can be so far apart in their political belief, how can we know which one is wrong? The answer lies in scripture. The Word of God won't be undone by the one who is wrong. It is the respect of being able to discuss those differences together with an open mind, so that those discoveries can be made, that allows one to grow in truth and understanding. Screaming because you are offended gets one nowhere. |

Matthew 12:31-32 King James Version (KJV) 31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE HOLY GHOST ARE SYNONYMOUS. King James Version (KJV) Public Domain 1 John 5 King James Version (KJV) 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. THE TRUTH IS THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. ANYONE WHO KNOWINGLY SPEAKS AGAINST IT (the truth) BLASPHEMES IT, (the Holy Spirit). John 14:17 King James Version (KJV) 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. |

A matter of integrity in religious discourse. Romans Chapter 12 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. 4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. |
