Synchronicity ?

On His 50th birthday, Vladimir Putin was given an exact copy
of the most sacred Tsarist crown, the Cap of Monomakh.

MOSCOW - The Russian people, accustomed to centuries of living under rulers cast as omnipotent and omniscient, showered gifts and attention on their president as he turned 50 Monday...

The gift that said the most, however, was a hat - a replica of the sable-lined, jewel-encrusted Cap of Monomakh, an early tsarist-era symbol of the Russian autocrat's absolute power - that a group of jewelers and cultural figures said they planned to give Putin for his birthday.

“UFO halo” in the sky baffles Muscovites

08 October, 2009, 17:05

Millions of residents in Moscow witnessed a strange bright ring-shaped cloud hanging over the city’s western districts on Wednesday.

Scientists from the city’s weather forecast service say there is nothing supernatural about it, however.

“It’s a purely optical effect, even if a spectacular one. You can see really strange things if you watch the clouds regularly,” Vesti24 TV channel, which published a mobile phone camera video sent to them by an eyewitness, cites the service.

“Several air fronts have passed Moscow recently, including an inflow of cold air from Arctic, and they combined to produce such a phenomenon,” the source added.

On the outskirts of Ascension, Paraguay.

I was working as a junior rep for an oil company at the time and I was on leave for two weeks, just bumming around Uruguay and Paraguay, and one of the guys I knew at Procter & Gamble said I should come up and meet him at this dinner party they were having and prepare to have my mind blown.

Hitler was one of the nicest guys I ever met. He was very frail at the time but his English and his manners were perfect. He kept asking me about my favorite hobby (photography) and he said he would give me an old Leica he had, which he would send on to me at my main address in Montevideo. Never arrived though.

I have no idea when he died. 1970 in Argentina, rumor has it.

Thought you might like to know .... Just an oldie on his way out with cancer making a small internet confession before the curtain drops. :-)

Thank you for listening to my story. It feels good telling it to a wider audience, providing me with a sort of feeling of relief.

I've been toying with my small confession for years, ever since I went online back in 1997, but it just didn't feel right. Well, this old guy won't be around for much longer, and I guess there's a time and a place for everything.

Thanks, guys. And my thanks to your moderators too.

Re: I met Hitler in 1967
The Hitler photo was taken during a “reunion” at the Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier National Park, Montana, on August 27, 1997. According to Skorzeny, Adolph Hitler was alive and well in the U.S. in 1997!

Skorzeny did not stop there. He produced a photo of a young Skorzeny, Mengele, Bormann, and the family of George H. Scherff, Sr.. Seated in the midst of those in the photo was a young George H. Scherff, Jr., who, Skorzeny explained, was trained as a spy and sent to America to work for Adolph Hitler. “He was given false identification and adopted by Prescott Sheldon Bush as his “son,” George Herbert Walker Bush,” Skorzeny went on. “He forged a birth certificate in order to enter the military before he turned 18. He was 16 at the time.”

When will the American people turn over Clinton and Bush and Obama for their war crimes?

Answer: NEVER

It was not up to him to turn anyone in and this is coming from a man who has had numerous family members killed by not only the nazis but the communists also.

And most recently, Bill "little dick " Clinton.

No, Hitler got away fair and fucking square and deserved to live the rest of his days in the lap of luxury just like these American war criminals.

I hope he lived the rest of his days as happy as a pig in shit.

Re: I met Hitler in 1967
How did you know for sure it was the real Adolph Hitler?

Good question. He could have been a look-a-like and I have no way of proving that this was the real Hitler.

However, why would anyone go to so much trouble to scam a party of oil execs and local Paraguayan dinitaries and government types (the "Corellos")?

My friend and I dined on the experience for years and we both laughed it over whenever one of us said, "You know, we should tell someone." I did in fact tell my wife, whom I married in 1973, and she just fell about laughing, so I never went that route again.

I've read a lot of stuff about the "Hitler in South America" angle, and I do know that he had look-a-likes in case the Mossad came looking for him. One of the guys I used to know down there, who later worked for the Shell oil company, told me that the Israelis knew and were quite happy to let Hitler live out his last years in peace. Some kind of deal was struck in Washington, so they say. No idea why.

What a fascinating work of fiction, Nym! I applaud your sincerity though.

Next up...some whackjob is going to dream up a story on how wonderful Stalin, Lenin, Mussolini, and the rest of humanities butcher's were also "good" guy's after they "retired" from the biz and granted asylum courtesy of the matrix.

As for the smoking, good advice. However, YOU should have stopped that nasty habit decades ago. We've all got to go sometime. In your case I hope you go quickly and do not suffer for too long. I've had friends and family die of smoking related cancers.

Unfortunately, their deaths did NOT come quickly, and the pain became so severe that the pain medications no longer had any effect. :(

Not fiction, my friend, but thanks for the well-wishes.

My doc knows the score and when the time comes, he'll up the dose so that I just "go to sleep" and don't wake up. You have to tell 'em "off the record" beforehand to make it all "sort of" legal, even though it's not .... if you know what I mean.

Nym, there are a couple things that bother me about your "story."

How did you know for sure it was the real Adolph Hitler?

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2298

Good question. He could have been a look-a-like and I have no way of proving that this was the real Hitler.

Secondly, if you gained entrance into the "in crowd" the Mossad could have infiltrated that gathering very easily.

Much more easily than you did. In fact, I would bet the Mossad would have whacked this monster long before you would have ever had a chance to meet him.

But, I'm not going to argue with you. Suffice it to say that I believe Hitler took the cowards way out as outlined by history.

Like I said, the Mossad must have known but took no action -- politics. Why? Dunno.

There are so many things I don't understand about this life, and even now I'm still trying to work them out. I really enjoy reading this forum. I wish I'd found it earlier. A lot of good questions are asked but many answers can only be speculation.

We human beings are very complex. You have this guy who was a mass murderer, and then when you meet him, you feel greatly honored and actually care for him. I really did, and it's left a lifelong impression on me.

Obviously, if I had been Jewish I would have felt very differently and perhaps my instinct would have been to kill him. But all I felt was a sort of very deep affection. This frail old man Hitler I had only read about and seen on film was sitting right next to me absorbed in the details of my life and giving me fatherly advice.

It was like he knew me personally and was keen to see me succeed and lead a good life. It was the most overwhelming experience I have ever had and I just wanted to help the guy too. I can't explain it ... it's just how it was.

Re: I met Hitler in 1967
This is a quite old thread, I read through every post, and do not see that anyone questioned Nym (the owner of the original post), why has he not spoken to Adolf in German, only in English and Spanish, and if Nym actually speaks german. Nym posted from Germany, I know, it does not prove or disprove that he spoke German, but he mentions daugher, and using daugher's computer when reviewing and posting to the thread - apparently daughter also lived in Germany, since Nym posts using her computer, and post appear with German flag. Nam mentions people witnessing his conversation, these witnesses (woman and creole male) spoke to each other in German, and based on Nym's posts I have a feeling that Nym would like to know what were they speaking to each other.
What I am trying to say here is that even if he did not speak German at the time of the event he is speaking of, and moved to Germany later, what are the odds that person that he poses to be (educated, with money - working for large fuel companies, globetrotter) would not speak the language of the country he is living in (attends to doctors and gets cancer treatment) with his children. If he learned German later, most likely he would be able to recall what the witnesses were speaking about, at least based on the fact that he appears to remember everything so well.

I am not sure if I believe or disbelieve his story. I am fully aware that the history is presented to us in the way suitable for some people, and far distant from the original, but it strikes me that no one questioned him back then about the languages, as this is the only inconsistent thing in his answers. Taking aside the fact that Nym did not provide a lot of details that can be verified,
