Bottom line is OP that what you are so against is the very thing that rules your own soul. By your words you proclaim the fact that you consider it to be a deception that is motivated by fear in those who follow or worship a book. And to a degree I will agree with you, because in all religious mindsets, the main thing that I have found is that religious people are putting all their trust and faith into what they believe and understand as their version of truth. They will say that they have faith in God, but when their belief is exposed, it is clear that their trust/worship/faith is based entirely on what they consider to be true in their own understandings. And in all reality, to attempt to have faith in your faith, is nothing more than attempting to trust in your own abilities...and when a person trusts in their own abilities to believe,... faith in God, is completely removed from the scenario, and the bottom line to what is thought to be faith in God, is nothing more than a deception of trusting in one's own attributes or abilities to understand and believe.

If you were to examine what you are against OP...which is (a person believing a deception because they are ruled by fear), you will discover the very same thing is at the very heart of your own soul. If it wasn't, then why would you be concerned about this issue with the religious minds?. You have no proof of the unknown, yet you are here posting an arguement regarding what you do not know....Why? Are you looking for an assurance via like-minded individuals to reinforce your own beliefs?

They do not worship a book nor do they pray to a book, they worship God to whom they direct their prayers. If this is something about which you cannot comprehend there are those who willingly would guide you and if it is something about which you desire further contention then get a life and leave to those that which they prefer.
