I was a little skeptical at first when I saw your thread
title--didn't think you would get many reasonable replies
bringing in "apples and oranges" topic where Atheism and
evolution are connected...but by gosh, you did it!

I'm only directing you, personally, to this thread and
the "featured video" which will blow your socks off if you
are REALLY interested in knowing why humans have supposedly
been on the planet for "millions of years" yet here we are
where we are (that's a subjective opinion, right?) I'm also
thinking we should be at the level of STAR TREK by now...but
we are far from it.
