Can the Creationist explain Amber? Which takes millions of years to form and contain insects perfectly preserved
Most of the world's amber is in the range of 30–90 million years old and some contain insects, plants, feathers, hairs and even small lizards that have lived during that time. How could this be if the earth is 6000 years old?

Just kidding, but I think that would make the answer obvious.

I'm talking about the beautifully preserved plant structures, numerous remains of insects, hairs, feathers spiders, annelids, frogs, crustaceans and other small organisms that have been found inside the Amber that lived millions of years ago

No evolution and millions of years with mankind around 6000 years.

Damn. That doesn't contradict science or the Bible! Well I'll be!

Your all being dialectically duped into believing the lesser of two "evils". Its a classic tactic of the "illuminated", they got you exactly where they want you.

Re: Can the Creationist explain Amber? Which takes millions of years to form and contain insects perfectly preserved
First off, there are different levels of "creationists". I think the ones that believe the world is only 6000 years old are called "Literal Creationists" or something like that. They will tell you that God created the world just like it is, with fossils and such to fool use (some god!). Other creationists belive that time is irrelevant to God (thousand years like unto one day) so that God could have created the earth/universe etc a long time ago.

I personally have no conflict regarding that the universe was created by an omnipotent/omnipresent "being", and that evolution is also employed by said being to advance things along, including the possible manipulation of genes by other beings, and is a direct reflection of the spiritual realm which exists outside of time.

They've actually tested the air bubbles in amber and discovered when it was made the O2 was twice what it is now, that's one reason the dinos and everything grew so big and lived so long back then

Actually the fossils were all brought about in the global flood, the one that formed the Grand Canyon, that's why there are fossil grave yards and the mammals are toward the top, because they float.

Right on OP. This is the perfect question that unravels their yarn about "creation". Insects entombed in Amber. Brilliant!

You missed the point. The point is that Amber was formed millions of years ago and sometimes there are insects entombed within the amber bubbles. Bees, ants, spiders, etc.

As I explained in another thread earlier - the Bible DOES NOT say this earth is 6000 yrs old.

You can believe in 'creation' and still know that the earth is untold millions of yrs old.

The creation of mankind simply does NOT have anything to do with the age of the earth.

And if you think it does - then you KNOW nothing about the BIBLE.

amber is nothing but hardened sap
and the fact that insects were trapped in it hardly refutes a creator
and if they sap hardened extra quickly because of a cold snap or flood
how can you claim it took millions of years for this to happen?

what would happen if some tree sap, with insects caught in it were flash frozen and buried in mud?
would it be a fossil in 1000 years?

Honestly I think anyone who believes in evolution has thrown logic and reason right out the window.

I challenge any evolutionist to outline the basic evidence for evolution for me right here in this thread.

Fossils are rock. The process is specific and requires the rapid encasing of organic material in mud.

Amber may be a kind of fossil.

"formed millions of years ago" is tossed about like it is an observed fact. When it is actually only a theory...most likely a flawed one.
