I met an army ranger in the bar and he was talking a bit about this subject. He said that his buddies joined the Freemasons and that they were getting better assignments then the rest of the guys. So he joined up as well looking to take in the benefits.

But when he found out what he was really getting himself into he got out. He also started questioning the war and is no longer in the army.
