I don´t know if I would call it a gift, but I have hit the nail on the head more often than not...but nothing that said I could tell the next days lottery numbers with certainty....I like to call it highly intuitive....sometime the third eye is there, and sometime it is not....and as you have said yourself...events are not set in stone.

I know of one where I grew up, a friend of mine saw her all the time and she was quite good actually or so my friend told me. I have never been to see this woman myself though.

Well I see that in endless space there must be enless realities and that whatever you can think of, exists.
The next logic question would be the.

Okay. This is something that most people have some problems with. Try not to scream too loud! (you might bother the neighbors!)

Yes, there are real psychics. In fact almost 30% of the population shows signifigant potential. Another 30% shows light potential. Around 40% show little to no potential. These last seem to be psychicaly blind for some reason.

Psychic ability works best under certain conditions.

1.The more pertainent to the individual, the greater the chance for acuracy. (For instance, I MIGHT be able to tell you that rock is going to fall on your foot. I WILL move my own foot before it falls on mine! Not perfectly acurate, but then NONE of our main senses are perfect either!)

2.The closer in time (future) OR already having happened in the past make things far more likely tobe acuratley read. 3-5 seconds is about the natural timing for interpeting future events. Past that it blurs. Chances are that past several weeks a psychic prediction will be very different in some way than predicted originaly.

3.Psychic ability is ALWAYS filtered through the experience of the predictor. (How many people thought something bad was going to happen on 9-11, but could not put a finger on it? I did...But I viewed it as the begining of a coming time of darkness and war...:)) You have to have a frame of reference to work from.

4.Psychic ability is largely non-verbal and non-left brained. To place psychic information in verbal terms (even if you ´heard´ the information...) means that your mind has filtered the information on some level. This can lead to degradation of information.

5.Most psychic "true psychic" predictions are fairly boring. I have never made an incorrect prediction on this site for instance! It´s just that none of my predictions have involved oh...A giant planet coming by or the end of the world. If my psychic feeling is that these things are not going to happen that should be honored as correct as well. (Debunkers hate that part! Primarily because they said the same thing...)

I know that some of this information is different from the beliefs some here might have.

But it is the very best information I can come up with after decades of information gathering and personal research. So far it seems to hold when used correctly!

I dated one. She busted me bigtime!

She knew the hair color, the haircurl, eye color, general body, and basic personality (giggly) of an old girlfriend I was visiting 1500 miles away, I didn´t tell her where I was, it was a business trip (I didn´t tell her I was visiting with this friend). This friend and I were on a small island in Puget Sound (Friday Harbor, San Juans). The psychic was just outside of Detroit. She knew the area, location, and that we were on a boat (coming back to Anacortes from Friday Harbor).

It scared me! I didn´t cheat or anything like that (and the psychic knew that too) so everything was fine. Frieked me right out!!!

The girlfriend psychic had done some minor things, and I thought that she was gifted, but I soon realized that she wasn´t telling me everything. She´d start with the "remember when..." and I never told her and she wasn´t even there...sometimes for things that happened before we knew each other.

That relationship could never work.

First of all "true" psychics are not endowed with super powers and can´t peer around corners and get picture perfect visions of things. They can not read your mind like a book, they can not (usually) control when it takes place. They can not really speak to the dead like talking to a person, or forecast an accurate future.

All of the ones selling you a TV show, a phone call and all of that stuff are actors, charlatans who if ever really tested would be revealed for what they truly are.

I am a true psychic. I do get fleeting glimpses of what is around the corner, I can pick up on the wave lengths that other people are broadcasting on and get a fair idea of what they are thinking.

I can and have predicted mundane things in people´s futures. I can, and most often do "guess" the right cards when tested with a human being. my average is higher than statistics would say - not by much, but enough so to convince the testers that I have some ability.

I get fuzzy blurred "impressions" which require me to interpret them and figure them out. I have to tease a truth out, it is not handed to me on a silver platter.

The closer you are to me - meaning the more time we spend together and the more powerful my feelings are for you, the more accurate my abilities are to know where you are heading on your life´s path.

My Grandmother had this dubious gift as well, she was able to pin-point my life pretty much accurate all the way until my 30th year. That was 15 years of accurate predictions about myself. She could not see beyond my 30th year. Incidentally she died when I was 30 - perhaps that was why she did not see beyond that year?

But she and I were close, closer than I and my mother. We had a connection which worked in her favor.

I have met many others who do have these sorts of gifts - and they too will tell you that their abilities are not super powers or magical ability to see clear futures. We get feelings, we get images which relate to things (not necessarily the thing itself) we get impressions and we can "see" clearly where the patterns are leading.

We can see where the road is leading, that does not mean we can see what is along that road. Its like looking down the road on a foggy night with a flash light, you get a sense of where the road is going but no real details.

For instance the days before 9-11-01 many people report being uneasy, having a gut feeling that something was going to happen - that is psychic ability in its rawest form. That gut feeling, that intuition that something is dreadfully out of place.

In the case of 9-11-01 the reason why no one could say what was going to happen is because there had never been a situation of planes flying into buildings like it. It was unique in its details, the only sameness was the feelings of dread and death, the terribleness of it all.

Psychics rely as much on past events as they do their gut feelings. Those who can detect coming earthquakes don´t just know an earthquake is coming, they have had a history of a certain emotion a certain "feeling" leading an earthquake.

True psychics tend to not let the cat out of the bag, they will not (usually) try to cash in on it because they know that it is not something that is accurate or going to make them a dollar.

You are looking for a prophet, a 100% accurate ability that can be repeated over and over again. Psychic ability is not like that at all, it is fickle, imperfect - a weak sense.

ac 733, i know exactly what you mean. my mom was pretty psychic too, but not the kind who could predict things, just had a super sharp intuition. im the same. if i really want to know something, i will get my answer. mostly i rely on this ability through my feeling nature, well, its more complicated than that as i sense emotions from people and places in my body. needless to say, this does take its toll and it is very hard to be around people sometimes.

i also have this uncanny ability to know when we are in a solar storm or when a large flare is in progress, funny thing is i notce others experiencing similar charictoristics (emotional reactions etc) but they just dont know that their bodies are sensing this.

i could go on with dreams and such but you get the idea. the more one understands whats their stuff and whats coming at them from outside, the more they will be able tune more into thier own psychic abilities and not need to rely on others to tell them.

I haven´t seen any decent evidence that psychic abilities even exist.

I see a lot of claims on TV, movies, and popular fiction, but that´s not good enough.

I used to believe this stuff before I educated myself and looked into it.

There is something about the occult that appeals to humans at a profound level. That doesn´t mean any of it is real.

Are you guys for real?

Some people do have the ability to see/venture into the astral but it is not something to waste on people wanting to know about their dead relatives (who probably have not retained consciousness) nor are astral experiences really relateable to material concepts.

Most so called "psychics" are material world savants and/or scam artists including that Edwards guy who really has bad vibes by the way.

Have you looked at the REAMS of solid research data done by actual scientists?
The information is there.

I have looked at and for the information that is out there...With the internet and the library at your disposal there is no reason not to find the real data....

No one can force you to look of course. But that IS different from the information not being there!

If you are really interested I would recomend looking at the research done at the Rhine institute and Princeton Engineering Anomolies Reasearch lab (P.E.A.R.) just to start. From there you should be able to find links to many of the other scientific researchers out there.
