In my early days in America it was fun. I felt like the Lone Cowboy on the Lone Prairie. I could gallop around and shout yeehaw and shoot at the sky and punch cattle, hell punch anything in sight. In the Silver Dollar Saloon it was nothing to go all-in at the poker table.

But back out on the prairie I noticed an increase in the buzzard population. A few buzzards okay, I could shout and wave my Stetson and shoo them away. But it seemed like those buzzards went and got their buzzard buddies and now too many buzzards. I go boo and they don't budge due to numbers I guess.

So now I sit on a rock and grow my beard and ponder on what to do.

So if going boo to buzzards doesn't work guess I need to think of something sneaky.

Maybe a decoy or scarecrow buzzard dressed in pink and surrounded by McChicken nuggets and curly fries, that'll do them in.

Could just ignore them and hope the buzzard DNA poops out due to lack of attention, but then what? Recline on my couch with my remote control and watch a Tiger playing golf on TeeVeee?

Boring!

Back to something sneaky, more fun. Design disintegrating five dollar bills with Benjamin Buzzard on the front and Bush Buzzard on the back-- an ass-shot of his sorry self sprinting off to Paraguay.

Sit back and enjoy the show.

That's it, a scarecrow buzzard dressed up in an Uncle Sam suit.

Say....if that old buzzard in the suit was me, on the corner of Pike and 1st Avenue, downtown Seattle...

...with my tin cup... or porkskin banjo case...

...would I be arrested for excess Patriotism?

I could always tell them my name is Uncle Dunk... used to soldier for Boeing until unfairly fragged.

Hell no, I won't go!

I am currently programming a game for Nintendo Wii

Called "Protesting the Dumb-ass War".

You superglue the sensors to your knees.

Why?

The Seattle WTO Protests played hell on my sex life. Got rather forcibly frisked in the crotch--guess the friendly Fuzz figured I was concealing a baseball bat. Either that or they are just...weird.

protesting is not a postive action
if your generation had become positively engaged
in the process
to bring change
you wouldn't be whining right now
you'd be like Ron Paul

The WTO Protest were weird

Over here you had a bunch of average labor union guys and their wives sittin on the ground singing "We Shall Overcome":

now they got sprayed!

Over there you had a bunch of Anarchists from Eugene busting windows:

the Fuzz just looked the other way!

So here's a tip, next protest wear a ski mask, not only do you get away with vandalism why you could probably swipe a badge or two for a souvenir.

I am only an organic Anarchist, that is when things of an official nature get really screwed up, I do anarchy by default. Either that or when I go skiing.

Do you mean more positive actions like the Boston Tea Party a skirmish at Bunker Hill and whistling Yankee Doodle Dandy?

Good idea! That way something historical might happen so future Ron-Pauls could have material to campaign about.

I do however agree with the thought that us old farts should do the risky frontline stuff.

Why?

A. Because we know how.

B. Because I don't want my kids out there. My fault, I raised them to be sensitive and nice. They were teens during the Clinton era when the world still liked us all. Besides crowd control has gone from mere pepper spray to weird Grunt microwave crowd control which is sissy-Brat tech if you ask me!

C. So dammit Old Farts, brave up, good day to fry.

My oppinion is that those buzzards are trying to GET you to choose anarchy and come out to scare them, or shoot them, what ever. Maybe its their way to justify the declaration of martial law, to institute military law and dissolve the republic. Expand the territory to include those to the south and the north. To create a larger state to rule.

I think I'll invent a defensive device for microwave sissy Brat crowd control.

How about copper frisbees?

A halftrack and mounted MW antenna pulls around the street corner and things start heatin up...

...ten thousand airborne copper frisbees!

That would be really cool to watch.

Bring hotdogs and buns for the party after.

Paul still has to grapple with Giuliani. Neocons are crazy and don't play fair.

Besides Rudy was knighted by the queen. Try to wade through his mob, might have to contend with evil Borg soldiers dressed like nutcrackers.

WHAT WE DID WAS FALL FOR THE BAD PRESS THAT IT WASN'T WORTH TRYING TO FIX IT, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO MAKING US DISGUSTED WITH IT, SO WE LET THE SYSTEM SWING FREE FROM EXTREME TO EXTREME RATHER THAN ENTER INTO THE PUSH/PULL TO STOP THE SWINGS.

NOW THAT YOU ARE WAKING UP FROM OUR METHOD OF EXPOSING THE EXTREME SYSTEM SWINGS, PERHAPS YOU, THE NEXT GENERATION WILL TAKE YOUR ACTIVE PART TO CONTROL IT BETTER?
