Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith Wow, I lived in Spring, TX back in 2008 when Ike came through - I thought it was bad then, but this is crazy! I live here for 25 years. Nothing is out of the ordinary, the only thing I do see different here in Houston is that it seems to me that tornado alley has shifted south and east, at least for this year. We also got alot of fog this late winter/early spring, other than that I think precipitation wise we are normal. |

Texting me, terrified. Lockdown now lifted, kids going back to class. I was on the South side of College Station when that moved through. It was a confirmed rain-wrapped tornado. My fat ass pulled into Chicken Express and they had the TV on. It barely missed me by just a few miles. Talk about anxiety... We were very close to each other. Should have gotten coffees and and hung out as the storm kicked our collective butts. Seriously, had my general contractor & kitchen designer here when our phones blew up. Then all our kids were texting us from school as they went into duck n cover. It was very dark, and the rain was wild. This morning, the humidity is off the charts. The windows are dripping condensation. Lots of moisture available for today's storm flare up. It is so hot and humid cant breathe and no wind |

1-2-Follow User ID: 60863762 United States 05/09/2019 04:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | we had a tornado warning for my town yesterday. the wind barely even blew when they claimed it was on us. they need to stop with their over using of the warning system before everyone stops believing their fake bullshit. every rotation of a cloud is NOT a fucking tornado. they're fucking with peoples health and getting them all worked up does more damage than a tornado would. Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith Or ate fried pickles and corn nuggets and induce diabetes with Chicken Express's über-sweet sweet tea I only go up there on errands, to shop, etc., I live South of Navasota proper. If you know where the OL Luther unit is out in the middle of the cow fields, I'm riiiight across the street. I love it out here! Flooding don't worry me, but the Navasota River is VERY much out of it's banks when you go over 6 northbound. We're about a mile or so from the Brazos itself, but we're way up on a hill, thank the Gods. It'll be interesting though. Poor Houston I'm sure isn't happy about this situation at all... I head down that way to Beeweaver from time to time. Very nice people. We were just a beeweaver getting nucs. Small world. Life is a spiritual war and no matter where we lay our head, we live in a warzone. There will be casualties. You do get to choose your side. I chose the Bright Side where my God fights for me. Others chose the Dark Side and fight for an entity that views them with disdain and discards them. |
