I am not logging in to some zionist controlled spin site. i know for a fact that on 911 2001 cell phones did not work from commercial airliners. The technology to enable them work was not provided until 2003. i will dig up the link.

I was right on both...

You are a dumbass that has never been on a plane...

The issue is two-fold...

It is $ and the fact that a cell phone at 30k feet will connect to more than one tower at the same time, thus fucking with the cell company...

The 'technology' you are not intelligent to understand is to keep the cell from connecting to more than one tower at a time, and to make you 'subscribe' or pay by the call through a box on the plane...

Buy a vowel...

Even the FCC admits that the issue has to do with 'interference' to ground systems:

"The FCC has approved rules that allow in-flight voice and data services, including broadband services using dedicated air-to-ground frequencies that were previously used for seat-back telephone service. Air-to-ground service providers are in the process of rolling out new in-flight services, such as high-speed Internet access for laptop computers. Because these services will operate in frequencies that are dedicated to air-to-ground communications and are separate from those used for wireless services on the ground, they do not pose an interference risk to wireless networks on the ground.

Wrong.

No, the problem was the cell phones of the time could not maintain a connection to the ground towers , they dropped out on the very rare occasions that they were even able to connect..

The 'technology' you are not intelligent to understand is to keep the cell from connecting to more than one tower at a time, and to make you 'subscribe' or pay by the call through a box on the plane...

No, the technology i am referring to was to enable the cell phones to contact a ground base. i have so much stuff on file on 911 since 2001, that it could me a while to find the articles, my fileing system is fecked. But find it i will. Anything to shut up a retarded zionist lying shill like you.

As are all your ignorant statements...

You will never understand, as you want to believe that they don't work from altitude...

Anyone that has ever flown and tried their phone knows that if there is a tower within 10 miles or so, you will connect...

BTW...Anyone that proves you talk out your ass is a "Zionist Shill"...

AirFone has been around for YEARS.

And analog cellphones DO work MUCH better than digital ones, most cellphones NOW are digital, in 2001 most were ANALOG!

This is all moot seeing as there were NO cell phone calls recorded, timed or accessed by anyone on ANY of the so called hijacked planes. The debunkers will still say" so what! as they always do also concerning the fact that kerosene, the same shit used on planes,is burning in millions of households every minute of every day and you don't see meltdowns on a mass scale{never have and never wil1 thanks to the immutable laws of physics.

Praise The Holy Of Holy :: In all the 911 investigations no body has demonstrated the triangulation of the cell calls to show the position of the caller ! Like they do in well published trials!! Praise The Lamb: Amen
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.Praise the one who gives you peace beyond all understanding Yes that scripture still sounds good !

You want us to believe that the problem is that callers will be tracked through more than one tower? Why is that a problem? Cell phones constantly track from tower to tower as you drive in your car. That is a complete nonsensical excuse.

As for the economist article, just because you leave your cell phone on during a flight doesn't mean it is "in use." It just means it's on. And it wasn't until AFTER 9/11 that they told everyone to turn off their cell phones. They didn't want anyone realizing that the damn things DON'T WORK in the air!!!

I know here in Australia that mobile phones won't work over 1500 feet.

And the thing is we have CDMA aswell digital broadcasting for phones. CDMA being analogue for the country users in the bush. I known many GA pilots who have said since 911 happened or even before then their mobiles won't work at 1500 feet.

And the phone systems going into planes now are satellite based just like the broadband services aswell.
Don't ask me about the length, what about the width.

I've not seen a good debate on the cell phone calls yet...

By William M. Arkin
Special to washingtonpost.com
Monday, Feb. 1, 1999

"Gentlemen! We have called you together to inform you that we are going to overthrow the United States government." So begins a statement being delivered by Gen. Carl W. Steiner, former Commander-in-chief, U.S. Special Operations Command.

At least the voice sounds amazingly like him.

But it is not Steiner. It is the result of voice "morphing" technology developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

By taking just a 10-minute digital recording of Steiner's voice, scientist George Papcun is able, in near real time, to clone speech patterns and develop an accurate facsimile. Steiner was so impressed, he asked for a copy of the tape.

Steiner was hardly the first or last victim to be spoofed by Papcun's team members. To refine their method, they took various high quality recordings of generals and experimented with creating fake statements. One of the most memorable is Colin Powell stating "I am being treated well by my captors."

"They chose to have him say something he would never otherwise have said," chuckled one of Papcun's colleagues.

you could always use cell phones, it would just interfere with the electronics and readings in the plane like the cockpit . If this is true than good for us all, but the last thing i need on a flight is people talking on their cell phones everywhere when you have to sit by them.

When they tried to ring the Aiforce Pilots who were in their fighter aicraft on runways all around New York their cell phones would not even work for an hour and a half and they were still on the runways.
