Different Poems

What is one to do when Sophia comes to call?
Follow her and never stray, for her Truth reveals all.
~~~~~~~
Come to my land
All wond'rous and bright
Made by the Forest Nymph's hand
and a Faery's soft light.
~~~~~~~~

I have one soul
And one mind
So leave me to my eccentric confines
~~~~~~~~~
I am alone in my confusion
Dainty Spirals of settled dust
Here lies the paint of my illusion
Destroy it now if you must
Oh, let the sun set on your evil destruction
What we wouldn't give to stop these cries
We'll rid the world of your cruel obstruction
Fade the darkness and they'll see your lies.
Dreams will begin as they fade into chaos.
Fortunes Of War
By Bob
The bright moon shining upon the sea,
The quiet autumn leaves blowing free,
Remind me of the loving times we had,
Some so incredibly happy, of this i am glad.
There we met so happy with glee,
A paradise island so lovely and free,
This island then became our home,
For our new children to grow and roam.
But the war my love, took all this from thee,
When my turn came to sail off to sea,
Fortunes of war my love they said,
Fortunes of war, who'll pray the dead.
So i have left, more lives my quest,
For your love i mourn and bear my best,
My spirit lives on and focusses in,
My family adored, my spirit eyes see again.
Fear not my family for God does love,
My spirit resides with him above,
I pray these words can give you some peace,
And wars on this world may hear and cease.
...i like this one...the dots are pauses...i pause a lot...
...an inspirational angel...
...by bob...
...as i traversed these paths of life...
...my eye for love did see...
...an angel wander on my path...
...and begin to walk with me...
...her stride was proper and elegant...
...her halo all aglow...
...she requested that i converse with her...
...as there was a lot she wished to know...
...my heart opened up to her...
...my soul could not stop giving...
...her prescence felt so right to me...
...for this moment my fate I've been living...
...her tranquil spirit with nary a bad word...
...her gentle persuasive way...
...demanded my spirit move toward her own...
...a place in her arms to forever stay...
...could a dream produce such a fate...
...one in such a similar way...
...i think not in my life could i find this delight...
...nor would i care to search for this day...
...so i plan to hold on to her spirit...
...and tender her care with my own...
...her petals of love shall be gardened...
...with my love she did water and has grown...
...lord look on this garden with blessings...
...allow it's fruits to ripen with love...
...accept and guide our spiritual life...
...send a gift of your love from above...
Never said my poetry was great. I don't expect to be on par with my favorite poet Robert Frost, but hey, atleast I'm trying! You don't have to read it if you don't want to either.
And my best poetry I haven't put up either because those are songs and I will be heart broken if someone steals that part of me.
Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Endless Beginnings-short story
by Bob
The winter wind blew at the window in Grannys' room, as the branches of the mighty oak standing outside creaks in the wind. The storm was peaking and whistling through every crevice of this old house, as winter storms tend to do.
Granny was near the end of her life. She had her 81st birthday that fall and had slowed down day by day, ever since. We gathered around at her bedside, my wife and I and our two children. We loved her dearly and was saddened at the thought of the coming event.
She awakened from her sleep and looked at us with wide eyes. A smile cracked her face and with it her eyes smiled too. Being very alert, she requested a nice cup of tea. Off the wife went to brew her a cup. Granny was full of happiness and hugging her grand children and telling them of her love for them and us also.
Then, after mom returned and Granny sipped her tea, she began a story, about a journey she had gone on with her spirit guide. This guide was only one of hers, as each of us can have many but it was his duty to show her a few scenes of coming attractions. Just like the movies at the cinema. With incredible excitement and not a concern for her condition she sat up in bed and holding the kids next to her she told us all about it.
It seems we live forever, from one life to the next. We choose our lives ahead of time and also the learning trials to face. When our spirit learns something, it does not forget. But because there is so much to learn, it takes many lives on different worlds, before we are purified enough to be a Spirit Guide. Spirit Guides are a much needed position in the spirit world, even though there are more of them than there are grains of sand in the universe. And it is a position which everyone should aspire to be. Sort of a step below an angel.
Her guide told her of God the creator and how he is pure love. That we are all a part of him. We create just as he does and one day will return to him with all the knowledge in the universes.
The spirit told her that in order to learn we are confronted with an earthly veil which does not allow the spirit to remember previous incarnations. Then we also have to deal with the ego. The ego is your selfish side, the spirit of God is the other side. When we make choices we should ask ourselves is this the best choice for everyone, not just you? With that question in mind all the time, we can choose the unselfish choice most of the time and our lessons will be easier to learn. We need to put the ego to sleep and awaken our spirit. It is true that if you listen to the voices within yourself, you will hear the answers to the questions.
This loving guide also explained how there is no hell or devils. That it was necessary to make man of early times, believe that there was in order to civilize this world. What we believe to be sins are really only wrong choices. God would never condemn a part of his own self. When you get back to the world of spirit, you judge yourself and choose new trials to learn from. Your free will chooses the path and world to find your needed truths, after being counseled by your spirit guides. You choose your trials according to your need to progress your spirit. Free choice. This is Gods' greatest gift to us and is up to us, to always use it wisely and for the benefit of ourselves and others.
Our mission in every life is to help others up to higher levels as we learn and rise ourselves. That knowledge and an open mind is the key to progress. The guide also said we never go backwards but that stagnancy of our spirit is the real hell and it is only in mans' mind. That we create our own reality by how we think and believe and speak. This is called creative visualization. So we must always be aware of what we say or even think. We create our own reality.
We were all entranced with Grannys' story as we never knew her to discuss these things at all ! She seemed so happy as her head fell back on the pillow and she smiled in a tranquil way. Then, she looked at us with a sparkle in her eyes and calmly said, " This is not the end of me at all but merely a new beginning. I gladly leave you now knowing this lifes' purpose is finished and my new trials await me. I am happy to go toward this path as I know it is the only way to reach the ultimate goal of soul purification. Being that we are all one, we never die. Only fade away for a while, to be met again, from life to life and world to world. You will never lose me and you can see me in everything around you, as you continue down the path to light. We are one with nature. I love you and shall see you again. God bless you all."
At this, Granny left us. We all know, she is with God now.
The spring blossoms filled the air with fragrances. The various breeds of birds had arrived from their winter flight and were fluttering around the big oak tree, outside Granny's bedroom window. As I peer through it, I remember her words as if it was yesterday. I see the endless renewal of nature developing outside, declaring itself again. Suddenly I realize, the renewal scene I see outside the window, is a mirror for us to see ourselves in. In that mirror we see, endless beginnings.
The Fisherman's Poem
By Walston Eugene "Chubby" Brown
Out on the Atlantic Ocean, steaming for a fishing spot,
Battling all the rain and storms in the waters that God forgot.
Out on the sea where a man has no pick,
Doing the work of a "jailbird", too damn tired to kick.
Out where there are no women, out where a man gets so blue,
Down in the bottom of nowhere, miles and miles from you.
At night the storms keep coming. It's more than a man can stand,
We are not laboring convicts, we are fishermen (understand).
Living with only memories and hopes of seeing our, "Gals",
Hoping that when we return dear, you haven't married our, "pals".
Only so long we can stand it---hours of love life we miss,
Boys don't ever go fishing and for God's sake don't insist.
And when our fishing days are over, the life we love so well,
St. Peter will say--- "come boy, you've served your hitch in hell".
