Should it matter what you think of me, or did it seem to slip your mind
I do not lay down and roll over, just cause you think you have the power
Things are what they are for all reasons unknown
And i do not give up for i seek the truth untold

Should i care if you see me or even take a glance in my direction
I couldn't be bothered by your fake love or false affection
Don't matter to me who you are or where you came from
I don't think its time just yet for me to open up to you or anyone

I don't hate nor could i ever but i do dislike the way things have been
And to have you at my side is a tease to you on my part
Won't do you or i no good to be fake within love
It really don't matter to me anyways cause the truth was not there to begin with

You can't call for me or help me from this dark cloud i've placed myself on
Screaming for me will do you no good so i ask you to move on
Just forget anything i've said as i will do for you in return
I've got a broken heart and it really does burn

Just clear your thoughts of any kind of future you think we could have
For i am not falling for your wishful hopes or lies
I'll run away from you and close the door to all life i see
I just ask that you stay clear away from me

I'm not who i am or you would want me to be
I have children to care for and they need me more
Could you stay away from any hurt i can cause you
Never look back and don't think of any of it

I'm wrong for you in many ways
And washing it all away would be the best approach
Feel free to move on for you know i will with my head hung down
And don't look back for there's nothing to be found.
