The light pours from your eyes and in to mine
A stream of energy, splashing so deeply in the waters of Mother’s Nile
Heavy in the call of an opening blossom under unconditional sun’s light
I love you
Do you hear these words move through gentle eaves?
And brush across the tip of the tide caught steady in moons light?
Love, you do pour through this jet between your windows to my windows
So intensely do I answer this with energy from mine eyes
A circle between you and I
There is a connection when the sunrise does pour its love onto the Earth
Reaching, grasping, touching every inch
Only the shade can keep from this
And only those who hide admits it can keep from morning light’s caress
Only invisible speckles of diffracted warmth, bending around to touch
The light moves infinite, unwavering, uncontainable
We continue to move that high vibrational breath between us
With each out of mine and in of yours, this power does grow
I keep my eyes open like that of children
For without this innocent stare, I can miss that called unseen
I will not contribute to this, my friend
The light pours from your eyes and in to mine
I feel my heart expand with every intake
Grow wide with every outtake
Even as I let mine flow out I continue to feel strong
In not a moment is there a weakness
For I am standing amidst the field
My arms are wide open and I am ready to receive the light
Any anger that comes at me
Any hate that comes at me
My friend, I know this when I look with heart into yours
That diffracting energy of light source
It moves around the anger
It moves around the hate
It moves around and penetrates the shade
With heart, third eye, mind so open I can see this
I relish in it in every moment
See it all
Every single moment of the now
That I stare deeply into your eyes
My friend, my Buddha, my master unbounded
Because when I look deep into those windows
I see only myself

A Visitor From the Past

I've not written anything in a while, but here's an oldie...


Why it's great to be a guy,
hangin' tough and looking fly;
Tall tales told about our bravery,
jokes we tell which are unsavoury.

We can't look weak and act all prissy,
lest our homies scoff and call us cissy.
We say our women must be homely but wild,
but above all, understand our inner child.

Enigmas to ourselves and women beside,
on the surface our skin's like a raw cow hide;
Underneath it all we're not that wide,
hiding adeptly our feminine side.

Crying's for women our motto should read,
our place in society promotes that we lead;
I disagree with the above, I hope you'll agree?
But if you don't, you can just come bite me!!

Dust and ashes of the earth
'Til the moment of rebirth,
When the phoenix shall take flight,
Vanquishing the dark of night.

Phoenix gazes towards the skies,
Singing its melodic cries.
Wings of feathers crimson, gold
Shroud the moon as they unfold.

Now aurora phoenix brings,
Beating incandescent wings,
Soaring to majestic heights,
Radiating Heaven's lights.

Legendary near and far,
This eternal avatar
Navigates the world alone,
In the cosmos on its own.

One exists in time and space;
Thus, to propagate its race,
It must gather wood and spice:
Frankincense and myrrh suffice.

With these, phoenix builds a nest;
'Tis its place of final rest,
Where it sets itself afire,
Immolated on the pyre.

Once the flames have come and gone,
Then appears the phoenix spawn,
Rising from the ashes gray,
Heralding a brand new day.

Sign of immortality
Now and always thou shalt be:
Dust and ashes of the earth
'Til the moment of rebirth.

From Dawn 'til Dusk

Burning in the fields of scattering ash,
I think to myself,
Searching for something,
Who are we, why are we here,
And why do we live in fear?

Breathing in the smell of pure ecstasy,
I still find myself,
Begging for mercy,
Swirling in the echoes of silver laces,
I can't remember memory.

Waking from the shallows of unconsciousness,
Is this a dream,
Is it reality,
Searching for the answers from heaven's questions,
What becomes of me?

Living in a dream of sweet ecstasy,
Shattered by the world,
God please have mercy,
Living on the edge of insanity,
Please just leave me be.

CAN I HELP THAT......

Can i help that i was given a heart
that shines like the sun to others
that aches when hurt as it should
and cares for all who enters it

Can i help that i was taught to share
for its how one should be or try to be
and is what makes others smile through out their day
showing that i can lend a hand in them of need

Can i help that i was blessed by knowing affection
to love all those around me
no matter who they are or what life has been for them
to open my mind up to them and hear them speak

Can i help that this is dedicated to all my loved ones
whom i cherish the most, all my friends
who i have grown attached to over time
and whom i look forward to seeing at the pearly gates of heaven

Can you help but see this poem for what it is
and not judge for what it could be or could stand for
for i know that in my heart deep down
this place GLP is my true family
