I think I accidentally uncovered something and I'm not sure what to do about it.
When my Mom died, I inherited her house. It's too big for me alone, but here I am. My grandfather built it in the 1940's. I've been trying to put the pieces back together, bring in some light, paint the walls, take out the old carpet. It gets a little better every day.
On to the kitchen. Today I had the old refrigerator taken out of the house. It was in the northeast corner of the room, wedged next to some cabinets. I've never liked that corner, it's too dark and just feels unhealthy for some reason. It's about 3 ft from the wall to the cabinets, so it's a fairly tight space.
Anyway, now that the corner is empty, it feels strange. I was standing there looking at the empty space and suddenly it was like something physical literally crawled up my back, across my neck and down my arms. Slithery feeling. I got such a creeping body rush that it hurt - it actually made my eyes water, it was so intense. I felt like I had to leave the room and I did.
What is in that corner?
I don't want to put a new refrigerator back into that dark space. But I don't want to leave it empty. Do you think a tall plant or tree would neutralize whatever that is?
A pole lamp, maybe?
Just paint it white and let it be?
I've been alone in this house for 3 years and I've never felt anything like this. Maybe it's my imagination but if so, it snuck up on me when I wasn't expecting it.
I don't know... I sound like a crazy person.
I need true GLP counsel on this one, please.
This is new territory for me.

Interesting story. Have you ever read any Feng Shui books? If as you say, you "never liked that corner", maybe there is something to be said for not putting a refrigerator there, but trying to do something very positive with the space to counteract whatever is giving you the creeps about it.
Feng Shui is mostly common sense, at least as it is presented in the popular books. I realize there is another more traditional and serious level of Feng Shui that isn't anything like the "McFeng Shui" we get in popular books. However the most important thing about Feng Shui is that trying it sure isn't going to hurt anything!
You are on the right track with the idea of a plant, although if it is as dark as you say it is, maybe it wouldn't thrive there. A dying plant is worse than no plant. Plants need light.
Maybe for now you could clean and paint the area, install some kind of light fixture, hang some very pretty framed artwork, maybe a picture of a beautiful tree, expansive garden view? Or lively colorful fruit?
Trying to do something beautiful and positive to counteract something you don't like isn't exactly traditional ancient Chinese Feng Shui. But it is common sense and somehow common sense has gotten more uncommon . . . so you have to look for it in weird places.
I like the book "The Western Guide to Feng Shui" and "The Western Guide to Feng Shui Room by Room" the second one is about my favorite Feng Shui book. I know it is goofy stuff. But it is just for situations like this where you don't know what to do, that you might find it useful. |

If you do as poster stated, asking it to leave in Jesus' name, and under His authority it will work but in this you must believe it will work. Jesus promised us we can drive out devils using His authority by using and calling on His name. Then take olive oil and on all your doors into the house, annoint them asking for His protection. When you drive out devils it works and you must remain believing He has done this and make inhospitable this home. Demons have left residency but returned 7fold for courrupted bodies. Annoint your home and let the light in.
Your home should have room overhead to run a flat fixture over the top of the insert spot, do that and then see in this light what works best, functionally and appearnce wise. |

Praise The Holy Of Holy :: Playing the Holy Bible on CD will drive an unsettled spirit from your home !! Also OP I know what you mean.. there are certain areas of my apartment that seem weird when I stand there or look there. Especially when it's at night. The strange thing is.. these corners I think are where my bed is up against. Weird. Like If I'd move my bed, I wouldn't want to stand there.. the emptiness that it creates sends out some form of energy.

I don't know what life form it is. My first response was fear in my experience, after a few days of panic I went back home and communicated with the being. The best way to describe it is they exist all around us but occasionally a rift or anomaly helps us see them. The messages I received afterwards were really cool.
