It was a good day .. Fridays always are .. in at 9, out at noon .. ran to the bank and store .. just sitting here having some Malibu Rum with OJ/Pineapple juice looking at the palm trees swaying in the ocean breeze with the Atlantic horizon as a backdrop.

Hi CE, Got the day off of work, so itīs all good. Took my son to the store for some supplies for a science project, then we went out to lunch. Home now, cloudy, drizzly day, but still, a day off of work is always good. Enjoy. LS |

Sounds lovely. I LOVE the beaches in Florida. Especially down in Naples/Marco Island area where I used to live. |

My son just got home from school about a half hour ago and weīre relaxing waiting for hubby/aka pizza delivery man. My sonīs bday is this weekend, so we have party plans for him. Itīll be fun. :) |

The gulf coast is newlyweds and nearly deads!
For the west coast, I prefer Pensacola .. well, pre-Ivan .. beautiful beaches with water so clear you could be in over your head and the sun was reflecting off of the sand on the bottom.
Daytona Beach is a fun place to live.

SLB .. we used to do the Friday night/pizza ritual .. until my ex had a heart attack at 41 .. verdict? .. Friday night pizza and too much non natural food in his diet .. but it was fun while it lasted.

Speedos crack me up!
I imagine some old women sitting around ticked off at their husbands for talking about their sagging body parts then inventing one multi-purpose garment .. trunks/jockstrap/sexy strands of material and convincing them they looked like they did when they were in the Navy.
THEN LAUGHING THEIR AZZEZ OFF!

My son will be 13 this Sunday. Yes! OMFG! I will have a teenager! LOL Heīs actually a good kid.. so far. :)
We donīt do Pizza every Friday, but hubby got offered a new job yesterday making a good penny and itīs my sonīs b-day this weekend, so we decided to celebrate some all weekend.  |

My son has always been the golden child .. heīs 19 now, never one problem .. my daughter and I were oil and water for quite a while, but since sheīs married and has her own life she seems to believe I have become more intelligent.
Weīre all close and best friends too. |

Hey CE,
I had some freaky weather this morning. I got up, went out to the workshop to put a coat of urethane on a table Iīm making. It was sunny, coolish, low humidity - all-around great looking day. While Iīm in there, suddenly the whole workshop started shaking like a minor earthquake - enough to make things go walking across the shelves but not enough to make them fall. I look out the window and itīs pitch black outside, like it looks at night! The wind was howling and it started pouring rain.
The whole thing only lasted about 10-15 seconds, then the clouds blew past and it was sunny again. I heard a cold front was coming in but jeeze. My daughter said she heard on the news that several funnel clouds were sighted but none touched down. Freaky weather.
Weīre going to HallowScream at Busch Gardens tonight and Iīll have to actually take a jacket, lol. Itīs supposed to be in the 60īs! Hasnīt been that cold in awhile. |

Thanks for the b-day wishes. I really do think heīs something special.. but you know, being his Mom and all I might be a bit prejudiced. :) I will say this though, Iīve heard a lot of parents say they canīt wait until their kids are grown. Me, Iīm sort of sad he is. I mean Iīm proud of how much heīs grown, but I enjoy him so much that the thought of him growing up and moving out makes me sad. I really do think I got lucky with him and have no complaints, as hard as that is to believe. |

In at 9AM out at 9PM just another 12 hour shift for me. Well when you own your own business and canīt afford to pay any workers it what one must do? Just love this great economy weīre in.

Iīve been a friend of Johnīs for nearly 10 years now and I like how I am without any mood altering substances. I can relax OK and get much more accomplished without it thank you very much, but that is me and to each their own!
I especially enjoy never waking up with a hangover or having to look into my rear view mirror and fearing the police will pull me over.
Ah yes lifeīs simple pleasures.

Iīm sitting here in a crummy cubical at work. Itīs rainy and mucky outside. The city smells. Hoboīs everywhere. Mental people all around. I live out in the subborbs but trek downtown to work (1.5 hours down & 1.5 hours back up). I work 10-6:30pm. This is life? NOT! Soon I will be out of this smelly routine!
*sigh* Palm Treeīs. Now thatīs the life. |
