Re: Iraq invasion to steal alien artifacts/technology
I'm sure that Iraq had some interesting artifacts from ancient summeria and the persian empire and maybe some alien artifacts as well. I'm sure that any terrorists were pissed that we invaded their turf, but who gives a hoot. We kicked ass and took names and that's all that matters about that. I believe the real reason we invaded iraq was because if we could take over the country, we would have prime position to take down iran. With Israel ready and willing to take anyone down, it wouldn't take very long. The only problem with that is our own government would get in the way. 5a

Iraq invasion to steal alien artifacts/technology

[link to shamelesscreations.blogspot.com]

snip" As soon as the invasion of Baghdad began, the museum was secured by U.S. troops. The museum was looted, while guards stood at the door. The worst part of the looting took place four levels below the ground, in vaults that had multiple layers of security, which were opened with codes and keys--secret safes containing mysterious objects from the dawn of our civilization, items that vanished under the cover of gunfire and the watchful guard of the soldiers surrounding the museum.
The story certainly gives credence to the idea that one faction of a secret government is battling another, or at least that the leaders of Iraq had found something that the government of the U.S. wanted in that museum.
Here's a bit from the theory presented at Future Technology From the Past:

"Anti-gravity, longevity, cures for AIDS and cancer, limitless free energy, faster-than-light space travel --- no wonder certain persons would go to any lengths to obtain, or conceal, such knowledge. As detailed in Jim Marrs’ “underground bestseller” Rule by Secrecy, the United States has long been governed by men connected to secret societies such as the Council on Foreign Relations, The Trilateral Commission, the Bilderbergers, the Illuminati and the Freemasons. All of these groups can be traced back to even earlier societies, all with a particular interest in alchemy and the occult.
It may well have been this interest and knowledge that prompted certain U.S. leaders with secret society connections to desire sending troops into Iraq in 2003.
This desire may have been intensified after ABC News reported nearly 400 ancient Sumerian artifacts were discovered in Iraq in 1999 in the southern Iraqi town of Basmyiah, about 100 miles south of Baghdad. The Iraqi New Agency said the objects ranged from animal and human-shaped “toys” to cuneiform tablets and even “ancient weapons”. At least one cylinder seal depicted a tall person thought to represent the ancient King Gilgamesh. The antiquities were dated to about 2500 B.C., said excavation team leader Riyadh al-Douri. Further discoveries in Iraq were made in 2002 and early 2003 by archeologists from the Bavarian department of Historical Monuments in Munich, Germany using digital mapping technology.
According to spokesman Jorg Fassbinder, a magnetometer was utilized to locate buried walls, gardens, palaces and a surprising network of canals that would have made Uruk a “Venice in the desert.” This equipment also located a structure in the middle of the Euphrates River which Fassbinder’s team believed to be the tomb of Gilgamesh, the ancient king who claimed to be two-thirds god and only one-third human. An epic poem describing Gilgamesh’s search for the secret of immortality was inscribed on clay tablets more than 2,000 years ago and is thought to be one of the oldest books in history. Reportedly, other astonishing finds were being made during this time by both German and French archaeological teams given permission to excavate by Saddam Hussein. It may be worth noting that Germany and France were the two nations most opposed to the U.S. invasion in 2003."
I'm tellin' ya, the world is a weird place. And it's as good a reason as I've heard about why Bush wanted so badly to invade Iraq. It may be that it's just another battle in the long war fought between two families that rule the world.
Isn't it fun to think about, anyway?

I heard it was also to secure an active stargate there as well... an old relic left by the annunaki!
 Quoting: Truth Seeker 170894

That's what I've been hearing from several sources. Not sure if the 'stargate' is a ancient relic, or if it annunaki in its origin... more likely it is man-made, using j-rod tech.

The museum cylinder seals, however, are ancient relics that may be annunaki in origin.

Good find, OP. I've been punting that question ("why the looting of museums") for quite some time - it happened again in Tripoli during the Libyan conflict, someone had a go in Cairo during the uprising there and I fully expected it to happen in Damascus had Syria fallen.

I suggested to John Lear in his thread recently that there was a 'race' to get to specific artifacts and records first, that ancient knowledge and tech were perhaps critical to someone, but he chose not to respond. I think it was Bob Dean who claimed that a team had been choppered in to Mt Ararat to seize something too.

this is real we are in the middle east because of technology we will learn. think about it we are broke getting loans from china and struggling to be a superpower. this technology trumps any currency. by the way we are currently banking on Dinars which is iraqi money or currency to keep the rich affloat during this. Bush Sr. just approved the first tear of exchange for Dinars to the Doller now there is 7 more tears. we as americans will lose 40% on the doller in next 2 years. learn be prepared and do what you can to help your family and friends. World as we know it is going to change radically. this war is a front to gain technology just like area 51 Roaewell. we have no cards left. this is are Ace up the sleeve. Lets hope the US will provail like we have in the past other wise we are just another empire who has fallen.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to add a quote from George Bush which I believe gives credence to this theory. Here is the quote and then the source:

"History will ultimately judge the decisions that were made for Iraq and I'm just not going to be around to see the final verdict," the two-term president told CNN in a wide-ranging interview.

[link to www.cnn.com]

This tells me that the general populace has no idea the true reason for invading. Maybe there were WMDs but they couldn't tell us they were extra-terrestrial in nature thousands of years old buried in the sand...

Just a thought...

I agree that there something other than OIL that is driving this war. Even though our country (USA) has become a country whose main industry HAS BECOME war and all the "things and devices" that are needed to wage war.

Iraq does have wonderful history and a dark hidden side as well.
After all,,,it IS where "modern" society began,,this time around anyway.

It would be awesome to go poking around the ruins there.

Hit

peace
Each time a person stands for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he or she sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. And crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current that can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance. Few are willing to embrace the disapproval of their fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change. Recently moved to Erbil city,Kurdistan(province in Iraq).
on a trip to the rocky mountains, noticed on the rocks, for a distance of 2kms,identical holes in the size, perfectly rounded and deep, that have no purpose. my guess that these are the result of some laser beams coming from above, from some flying objects, done for fun or as result of a battle.
next time will take photos and measurements...

omg theres a fiction book i read about a subject similiar to this. it had some fictional characters who worked for the U.S. government in a agency called ocea i think. it used real historical events and added fiction to it. the basis of this particular book was a iraqi museum was raided during the iraq invasion by the u.s. and a statue was stolen that had masonic origins that somehow gave the directions to a gold mine of solomon or one of his sons gold mines in the U.S. or something. i know this is irrelevant if i can't remember the author or the book name. yarg!!! i'm usually good at recalling this stuff. the same author wrote other fictional books focusing on these same heroic characters.
