Quoting: Anonymous Coward 243937... You must show this to everyone (very scary): [link to snipr.com] So are we officially living in a Police State now? YES....but the more resistance and absurdities ZOG gov't displays... the more exposure and publicity we get. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 226245 United States 07/04/2007 03:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seems like most of the fans around them had that tense "I wish these troublemakers would leave" look. That's what you are up against, folks. Most of the "people" just want to enjoy the game and could care less if they even have rights in the first place. |

When folks go to a baseball game they want BASEBALL, not political posturing. That the RP supporters kept saying 'Our right to free speech', doesn't help RP's campaign one iota, and actually makes me think this is an ANTI RP ploy...probably pulled off by an alphabet agency. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 258208 United States 07/04/2007 04:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The argument that it is private property does not hold water. Even if this stadium is owned 100% by the Marlins (which I highly doubt), they cannot dictate to anyone what T-shirt they wear and what message it contains (within tasteful reason). A Ron Paul T-shirt worn at the game would not have resulted in being booted from the ball game. The problem lies squarely in the fact that it was televised (or so they claim on the video). Doesn't Fox control the editing of their own televised programming. Just direct the cameras elsewhere. Maybe their seats were situated such that they could avoid being seen when a ball was hit down the thiord base line or something, but.... Then again, it would have made me about sick to have seen a Bush 2004 done in the same manner at any sporting event, so I suppose its not entirely a bad thing. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 247914 United States 07/04/2007 05:21 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's a toss up here. Ron Paul demonstrators have rights to show Ron Paul's name on cards, in certain places, and The Stadium managers have rights to see to it that their fan base isn't driven out by all kinds of demonstrators so that the enterprise looses revenue. Personally, I lOVE RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!! |

Well there's paid sponsorship(they even sell the names of stadiums these days), but if some guys from Gatorade had signs in the stands that spelled out their product name in huge letters, don't you think they'd be stopped? I still smell a rat in this whole thing, and I think it's ANTI- Ron Paul people. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 261751 United States 07/05/2007 07:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The cult of Ron Paul is the most obnoxious, annoying group in politics in decades. Now with their 2% support levels they're gonna start spamming ballparks? I've had baseball season tickets in my family for years, and have never seen a bunch of political bozos trying to make a statement inside a ballpark like that. An oh, if they can't hold up their little Ron Paul signs, then they want their money back for their tickets. Then what'd they buy the tickets for? It wasn't to watch the game, it was just to annoy people. Take your idiot signs to an appropriate place, like your parents basement where you live. |
