I think they have already pulled several cruel jokes on us.
We are no longer the people but the sheeple.
Maybe, the people in the goverment are not really Christians. Maybe, they are preparing the world to worship Satan. If they are controlled by Satan he is more subtle than all the other creatures. All you can do is get right with GOd lean on him and he'll take care of the rest. If you read how revelations ends it is the bad people in charge in the end. Most things done by goverment is not really for our benefit. If they knew we were to be destroyed by Planet X or whatever and could protect us I don't think they would. It's all about protecting the elite and we are not it. God will have the final say however, so fear not and know that all these things written in the Bible must happen. Don't count on a rapture before you see some of these things either. He can protect you though through them if he chooses.
