the only problem I have with that characterization is that "brain dead" assumes the brain was working at some point in the past. |

However, we must not for one minute think that the shrub's pardoning of Libby and the subsequent outcry was not foreseen nor planned. Nothing is done in this administration that isn't a means to an end. They are reaching for the tipping point, trying to force the people's hand, to get them to rebel before this term ends so that they can declare the marshal law that they so desparately want to do.
Their motives are hidden in plain sight. A weak minded imbecile they wanted, they may not be so lucky if another "election" is allowed to take place. |

I truly despise Joe Biden.
I remember in early 2003, all he did is talk about how we needed to invade Iraq. He was on the TV constantly.

i'm far left and i don't believe in reptillians. buyt i've said on international tv while standing in front of the white house that bush was merely a puppet. that he was incompetent and should be fairly tried for war crimes and then taken out and hung. at that point the swiss tv news guy looked shocked. afterward he confided in me that it did his heart good to see that all of america was not as dumb as they seem.
it's good that the world understands that our country has been invaded by iditic power mongers and the religious kooks who support it. |

The thing is, is that the whole Iraq action seemed rational at the time because it was leaders of BOTH parties that said it was necessary. And Joe Biden was at the top of the heap.

The king is truly a nutbar...BUT! Don't forget that Biden and the rest of the dems voted and gave him CARTE BLANCHE to do whatever the fuck he wanted to do, VOTED to condone the 911 commission, VOTED to go right along with all of it. If Bush is still asleep at the wheel with more power since 9/11, then why don't those who are there to wake him do their jobs? Maybe their jobs now are to give more power to 1 position, so they then think that if a successful terror attack occurred that killed many of these front line leaders, they might be the lucky 1 left to lead the nation, just like in the "battle-star galactica" scenario to do with secession of the prez |
