I'm not sure I understand the motive behind your question though -- quite frankly, who cares about the who and the why... this video was put out by NY "authorities". It's posted on several main stream media sites. And as we've discussed here, the video is a (surprisingly) bad fraud... all you have to do is slow down the tape to see the obvious flaws.
The real question is why... why would they put out this fraud and instead just scare us to death.
In my opinion, the mission was cancelled -- plain and simple.
Or (and this is equally plausable), a mole busted the false flag op and someone intervened and diffused the situation. |

it's a Youtube vid of the blast, and at 38 seconds, it captures a fella running from the blast with something over his shoulder, but THEN, at 44 seconds, that very same fella tries to stop the filmer from filming the blast!
He keeps on badgering the guy as well, and the vid eventually stops! I can't make out what they're saying to each other though, the steam is so loud!

Well, it looks like someone else is bringing up this "24" thing and 7/24 date like I did on pg. 18 of this thread:

If it is ominous, they could be flashing the date somehow. Next Tuesday the saddest date on the Jewish calendar, Tisha B'Av, falls on 7/24. Tisha B'Av (or the 9th of Av) is when the two temples were destroyed and their city (Jerusalem) was plowed up.
Let's not forget that TV series "24" which deals with cities being nuked.

I think this explosion is the result of a timer being set in advance. I beleive base on all available evidence that the tow truck was responding to an abandoned car that exploded and that this is being methodically covered up.
What I am saying is that if they are erasing evidence and a pattern can be established through what they deleted that they are selectively elliminating the one story that is dead nuts on correct, it can be assumed they are IN ON COVERING IT UP. I could be wrong, it could be a coincidence, but life has tought me when you think its a coincidence and unusual events are involved,it ususally isn't.
I know what they won't allow to be said and why, because it's what happened.
