Well, here's some news from Drudge, and since we're talking about "24" so much....

BAGHDAD (AP) - A new round of U.S.-Iran talks focusing on the deteriorating security situation in Iraq will be held Tuesday in Baghdad, the Iraqi foreign minister said.
"I can confirm that the United States and Iran have agreed to meet on July 24th in Baghdad," Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari told The Associated Press in a telephone interview.
The Bush administration had said Tuesday that it was ready to hold a second round of direct talks with Iran, and Iran said it had accepted a U.S. invitation for talks.
Zebari's comment was the first official confirmation of a date. |

Well, ask your self this. WHY would they PS the video?

if it were a bomb, planted in the manhole, it would look like a steam explosion anyway, so there'd be no need to PS it. Likewise if it was just a steam esxplosion.
if however, a missile came shooting down from the top of the Chrysler building, chances are it would have been caught by that security cam footage. Hence the need to alter it.

Yes... all great points. We're on the same team.
But this missle idea is flimsy. It was put out just after discovering the fake CCTV video. This is classic disinformation to distract us.
Quite frankly, what they did isn't nearly as important than who ordered the coverup. That's THE most important issue, wouldn't you agree.
The video was put out by the NY Fire Department. Heroes like the wearechange.org people should ask the fire department for comment -- that would be a great starting point.
Imagine if someone leaked out who did the actually editing of the tape -- this story would go "SuperNova" -- and could possible abort an upcoming false flag attack. |

was there a "dry run" for the september 11th attacks? for the 1993 WTC bombing? for the oklahoma city bombing? why would elite military professionals need a "dry run" like this prior to pulling off a clandestine terror plot??
I for one don't think it was a "dry run".
A distraction, maybe.
An "announcement" of something else, maybe.
But a dry run, not.
It's hard to imagine a dry run needing to have doctored up video surveillance evidence fed out to the MSM.
My understanding is that this was intended as a dry run without any explosions, but someone screwed up and set the timer for the 18th.
When Chertoff says he has a "gut feeling" you can bet your ass he knows exactly what's going down. That's the way these bastards work: coded warnings for their buddies, death for the rest of us. |

It would also be a good idea to download the thread and burn it onto a CD. In my experience, genuine threads containing important information get deleted when nobody is noticing. I've seen this all too often -- not just here, but on other forums.
Things can change very quickly in politics. Although the media and federal government are now working closely with one another, the day may come (sooner than you think) when many of the existing crop of public officials are put on trial. Any evidence you have on CD will be used against them. |

Ok this is the one thing I can't get about this rocket launcher story.
What kind of idiot leaves something like that in the open? Lets assume for a second that some how this and the expolosion are connected.

The CCTV video was Photoshopped -- no one disputes this.
This is sad. This is a massive story that's being thwarted and the moderators here aren't pinning it.
