Blackbird singing in the dead of night |
SickLilBitch 11/20/2004 02:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Blackbird singing in the dead of night Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these sunken eyes and learn to see All your life You were only waiting for this moment to be free
Blackbird fly Into the light of the dark black night
Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise |

Can you see me dancing? A silent voice singing for you Hear my Raven call Would you be enchanted and follow me?
Lost is but a dream fading And soon Iଁm calling out again Would you come to release me? Would you tear the icy chains from my skin? |

have you heard that atrocity of "Imagine" that they are slinging out over alternative airwaves???
have to turn it off every time I hear it... |

Richie Havens version of Here Comes The Sun is quite palpable and nice. |

This song is supposed to actually be about the abolishing of slavery in the US. But for me it´s about strength and a coming of age when you recognize you have it despite the adversities and learn to rise above it. |

Zico 12/08/2005 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Blackbird singing in the dead of night Harrison songs done by others were often well done, George himself said he could hear others singing the songs as he wrote them. How about Clapton doing "Something" during The Concert For george? |
