They want people watching until the end. MLB wants the big game 7 in the world series. NFL wants the last minute, game winning final drive. They don't want the casual fan turning a game off because the score is lopsided, and refs are told to do what they can to limit that. NFL is definitely the biggest offender. So in that sense, sports are rigged. There's no way any sport is predetermined though. |

All you need is the homeplate umpire who has some imaginary box for balls and strikes so you can tell him to strike certain people out whether or not it really is a strike. Also the pitcher is literally in control of all aspects of the game and can have an "off night" when in reality he was paid off---just like what Kershaw did for LA this year, not once but twice he threw a ball down the middle and the other team tied the game in the final innings and not surprisingly won. Oh yea this was against the current team IN the World Series. Yes everything is rigged up and down for some sick purpose be it gambling or rituals. |
