I agree with you, but I will play 'devil's advocate' and will give you 2 reasons why your government may not want to deport illegal aliens.

1. They are paid very low salaries, which make corporations very and employers in general, very happy.

2. They pay taxes.

Agreed. Thinking beyond simple (yet complex) deportation of illegal aliens, how about we charge the Mexican government the amount that we as taxpayers have funded Mexican citizens to live in our country?

As a tourist visiting USA, I have to pay my own travel and medical insurance, I spend money in USA, I won't get a dime by all those programs and I won't come to do any criminal activity... actually I am a bit afraid of one.

If you're simply a tourist that doesn't classify you as an illegal alien - at least as far as I am concerned of the "legislations," and because of my personal beliefs.

Personally I'd welcome anyone from all across the planet to visit the US, work here, perhaps even decide to live here.. but for people to cowardly cross the land border & hide here while leeching honest, legal American citizens is pathetic.

The 'leeching' is mutual, Sudel_Tek. It is a co-dependent relationship. Employers/employee. When the demand stops, so the supply.

I am directly speaking about the process of law and taxation, not economics or business. God knows how many criminals we are providing social services for. I don't give a shit if they're working @ a farm, which allows us to eat tomatoes for dinner. Consider all of the food contaminations.

If Mexico cannot efficiently support their citizenry, it is their problem.. and if they are sluggish in implementing improvement, it is our responsibility to take over and make sure that Mexico's problems do not affect our country!

That would happen if your government would care about americans, Sudel_Tek, but that is not what I see. I see the american government, taking advantage of the mexican corruption (the main cause of Poverty in Mexico and in the world) to have cheap salaries and oh... more soldiers. Poverty is a great army recruiter.

I agree that all communities should be able to bill the Mexican government for the services rendered from schools to medical to extra police and firemen, translators, printing bi-lingual forms and anything else they provide like welfare payments.

The federal government should start billing for all it spends on food stamp programs, medicaid, welfare, section 8 housing, etc.

Those are good reasons, but the number 1 reason would have to be:

A tourist, carrying a passport, is welcome here. Because they are TOURISTS! Illegal aliens, living here illegally, should be deported because THEY ARE LIVING HERE ILLEGALLY!

My dad worked for the INS for 30 years.
Simple solution=deportation.
There just isn't enough human power to completely enforce this however- the USA is a huge country.

Thank Caesar Chavez for that one...it was the first crack in the wall. Before that snafu there was a guest worker program that worked fine. You agreed not to accept citizen rights in exchange for a wage. Yes it was a low wage, but it was an agreement you signed- no one forced you and it was a lot more than you'd earn back home. When the work was over, you went home with your money. Fine. It was a signed agreement. Then these organizers like Chavez came in and said this is inhuman. These people want more. Even though no one forced them to sign their guest worker agreement. The workers, of course, saw the organizers as their allies, because they were going to get them more money and benefits! So they began to rally around these ego trippers. Now we have the present rock-and-a-hard-place situation, where we've guaranteed all these worker rights, but can't afford to honor them because SOOO many folks are taking advantage of the higher living standards without paying back into the system that supports them. You can't really blame them for trying to better themselves, but the current system has been stretched to it's limits.

We need to return to a realistic guest worker program, and start a hardline enforcement of it.

That has been said way too many times now. Is that an excuse or what? I'm European yet I live here, but we cannot go back so far into the past. We have to deal with present problems.

Illegal Mexican aliens have their own land & country - Mexico. The US is not a haven for Mexicans who have unfortunate circumstances within their own country. Why don't they rise up and begin a movement; revolution? Are they not that independent & brave?

The big picture only has partially to do with Mexico/Mexicans. Do we know who indeed has crossed our borders illegally? No. Some could be foreign intelligence operatives, Chinese spies, Islamic terrorists, felons/criminals, rapists, child molesters, ET species from another galaxy, who the hell knows!? They have illegally migrated, therefore our national security has been breached. To protect the true, legal citizens of America, the US government needs to do something efficient, am I right?

EU member countries themselves have immigration issues to deal with. Have fun and good luck with that.

I'd have to agree with you on that note. I'm for humanity as a whole myself. However I do live in NYC, I have witnessed what certain parts of humanity are willing to do for some irrational, illogical, idiotic cause (Islamic AND Christian fundamentalism)

It's very unfortunate that we even need to document every single person that enters a country, but what is the alternative? Put on the table a legitimate solution to the present concerns of the world population.

Foreign workers are a great resource to a country and it's economy. I'm on the fence regarding the issue in a more complex matter however. I'm Italian & Austrian and I love my ancestry & blood, however first we must fight the elite whole (Freemasonry, Bohemian Club, Trilateral Commission, etc..) before we can unite as one. Most of the illegal aliens are indeed here to work and provide financial resources to their families usually back home (Mexico mostly I bet) but I believe what they should be doing is fighting the corruption back home! I guess they're only trying to survive, but they perhaps need to be taught something.

• Solidarity with democratic forces fighting imperialist neoliberal polices in their home countries so that mass migration from poor countries to rich becomes unnecessary.

• The defeat of the anti-immigrant, ultra right forces in the elections of 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 on federal, state and local levels.

• An end to the appointment of repressive, anti-immigrant judges.

• Labor and community forces to help to strengthen the coalition of forces united by the labor-led Immigrant Workers Freedom and work within it to advance legislation and other activities that will achieve freedom and justice for immigrant workers. In the context of this coalition, we support the positive provisions of Kennedy-McCain bill, while working to strengthen its protections of immigrant workers’ rights and opposing restrictive measures; and,

Be it further resolved, that we call on Communist Party bodies and activists to increase and improve outreach to and support of immigrant communities and labor and civic organizations, including the building of our Party and press among these communities. Increased and more rapid publication of materials in Spanish and other languages are needed. More meetings, forums, rallies, seminars, studies, and assignments of responsibility are needed on the question; and,

Be it further resolved, that the incoming National Committee should establish ongoing collective effort to help coordinate greater concentration on the question including the development of an Immigrant Workers Bill of Rights taking into account previous such documents and progressive international standards such as those set out in the Declaration on the Rights of Migrants, Refugees, Displaced Peoples and their Families, adopted at the 5th World Social Forum, Porto Allegre, Brazil in 2005.

What does the criminal governemnt care how much is spent on these parasites. It's not their money. The only ones who gain are the corporations who make billions and pay low taxes. And most of the politicians have high dollar interests in these corporations.

You see, the government is not a government as such. It is basically a corporation there to make profits. To them the people are just commodities to be used like any other.

The problem is only a small percentage of the population know this.

Once Bush takes another step towards satans NEW WORLD ORDER and Mexico and Cannada become one country under the Nortt American Union the mexicans will no longer be illegal, all Mexicans will be US citizens.. Problem solved.
