There is very useful information on those threads about how religion came to be, how the bible was written by man and put together by man to instill fear into the people so they could be enslaved and controlled.

There is useful information on those threads of the true nature of God, a loving God, not the cruel, bloodthirsty god of the bible.

There is useful information on those threads of how Jesus was a very enlightened being who came to warn us of the false teachings of religion and to tell us of the true nature of God and how we can be the same as him, enlightened to the true so we can also perform the miracles as he did.

There is useful information on those threads, in particular, a link to a site where the church admits that the bible was changed, the virgin birth and crucifixion were not in the original writings but added later to help bring in more recruits to this newly organized religion.

No questions asked is what religion tells you. Accept what they say or burn in hell. That is mind control in the highest form. To escape it you must ask questions and do your research and discuss it with others.

Why do you think others should not be allowed to share this good news that will help people to escape religious bondage?

I read many threads where Christians have called people names. These people were just trying to explain to them that the Bible is full of evil and contradictions. But the Christians call them names such as "ignorant", "clueless", "pea brain", "stupid", "lack of intelligence", etc.

My apologies, I saw Christian bashers in the title and assumed you meant anything said against Christianity. You are right in the sense that name calling does take away from this board. But when you say " Christian bashers" it sounds like you are saying "anyone that disagrees with Christian views" should be banned. I strongly disagree with that, if we went through life with everyone always agreeing with everything we say, how boring would that be? Debate makes things interesting :-). Everyone has a right to say what's on their mind here, and that is a good thing. With that comes some people who aren't so gracious in their manner of speaking, it's best to just look the other way in those situations...

I find them quite useful.

It's always easier to connect with them who dont believe, than though who think they righteous and just.

I hate Judaism.

It is a religion for animals. That is why Jews act the way they do and will never be anything more than Earth-bound entities.

The problem is that xians mock God by trying to foist their mean spirited little religion on others. Condemning others to hell for not believeing like them is a supreme insult. You use crude fear tactics to enslave others. That is evil and wrong.

ALL do you. You included. Your feelings count as well you know. People may not beable see them on screen, but I'm "talented" enough to sense them.

Smugness isn't a nice thing, nether is trying to get one over on someone.

They don't want naysayers around to make them question thier blind faith.
Mostr of them don't really belive, they just go along with the rest of the crowd. Having someone pose thoughtfull and meaningfull questions about the nature of God, Christ and the Bible scares them.

If they think about it too much they may wake up an athiest. If that happens they won't fit in with the rest of the SUV driving, middle-american crowd.

They would have to make it through life on thier own choices! GASP, SHOCK!

A Christian that condemns others is not a true Christian. God is the judge, not any Christian.
A Christian that uses "fear" is absolutely wrong in doing so.

I am a Christian, and I will never use fear to bring anyone to the Lord.
First off, know matter how good I try I do not have any power to bring anyone to the Lord, and neither does any other Christian.
It takes two witness's to confirm the Word, bible says so. So when you see a bible thumper slam dunking someone, you see a person unlearned and unwilling to present the Word in love.
After all, if God is the God of love, where do we get off by smaking around another brother or sister.
We are all Gods creation, and if someone does not accept that, that is not my problem, nor any Christians problem.
Problem is most Christians think they are the saving grace of Gods power. God is in control, not some human in the flesh.
If someone does not accept what I share, that is okay by me.
I push grace and love, and if you find fault in that, well that is okay by me too.
Grace= forgiveness for sins.
Love = giving oneself to another in patience and etc.

Sorry you feel that way about me. And it does not bother me that you do. Smugness? Hum. I guess we all have that in some form or another whether we talk about the bible or baseball.

Human communication is all we have. Your mind is looking always outward to see what reflex your personal tastes of everything in your personal life. We can only reflect what we learn to be true for our personal selfs.
Hope this helps you understand that if you see me as being "smug" in some conversation as you say I do, then maybe my imperfections is worse than yours.

People have to learn for themselves through there own experiences.

Just because you do not like what someone else thinks or believes is not going to make it go away by banning them.

If one truly has faith in what they believe then they should not feel threatened to the point of wanting to shut somebody up who has different/opposing views to there own.

You should allow another human being to come to his/her own conclusions through there own FREE WILL.

No mater how much this current world cycle is MAJORLY influenced by the SATAN/DARK SIDE..Human beings still have CHOICE.

Do not try to help the dark side out by wanting to take that away from your felow human beings simply because they have reached different conclusions than you have.

That is not very Godly...GOD gave us FREE WILL..We make our own CHOICES and deal with the consequences of them if any are due.

It is the way the universe works...The universal law of KARMA. LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE.

Research and study some Metaphysics and do not throw a fit just because somebody else believes differently than you do.

Wanting to ban someone for those reasons is very immature.

Banning anyone at all takes away there FREE WILL.
