I have read a little on her. I cannot believe that she could be the reincarnation of Mary Magdalene. Didn't she fake her death in order to run off to Mexico with some man. The affair ended after about a month. Really, not the behavior of one who was the closest deciple of Christ.

Why are you judging her more harshly than any of the other Protestants who started their own denominations?

Take an honest look at some of the people who have been "spiritual" leaders and you'll find much more and much more embarassing people than McPherson.
